The new Circle Looper pedal from Donner.
It's a looper pedal, it's a drum machine, it's both at the same time!! 40 memory slots 4 mins max recording each slot, so 160 mins overall, over 100 rhythm tracks to choose from, tap tempo option, option to link to PC and add your own loops!, mono and stereo.
Having played around with it for half a day, it's great fun... The drum tracks sound great and you can set it up to count in and start recording your loop at the same time your drum track starts... Have a watch

I'm gonna avoid all the low hanging fruit that I would normally treat to shreds (which kills me) and just say, thanks for the video man. It was informative which is all I was looking for. Keep at it.

just glade i looked at this looper before ordering a boss ,No brainer on order and will be with me in a few days ,dont even think i need to read the manual after seeing a few youtube reviews Thanks for the review just nice to here somebody this side of the water

I’m a blues harp player and and this is right up my street And maybe next purchase I got 3 Donner pedals ( mini ) Blues drive overdrive Delay Reverb They are all very well made Sound great And do everything I want And frankly amazing for the price There is a somebody above saying he has a faulty unit Return it to Amazon etc get another It happens Nice little review Thanks for sharing

It is a lot of fun 👍. Having the drum machine can also help with your loop timing so great for beginners as well getting into loops..

@@markmccaffertymusic4686 It came in today and I did a little jamming with it. Holy cow there are so many different presets and capabilities. The only strange thing is occasionally it would say Input signal interrupted but this didn't seem to really affect anything.

It does warn you if your input or output is clipping, but I didn’t see input interrupted warning. Yes loads of presets to play around with.

This is my 1st looper pedal. I like it. 1 comment. I cant seem to get overdrive on guitar without the rhythm getting distorted.

Try adjusting your volume slightly, on the pedal or amp or guitar or all of them!!

The ideal set up is to put it in the amps FX loop has a send and return for pedal .This is the problem with modeling amps were all the fxs are built in. If your amp has no fxs built in just put the looper at the end of your chain of pedals Hope this helps

How does the fade function work? I want a good looper, but I want the loops to slowly fade out over time. Can this achieve that? Thanks!

Yes you can do that but it is a max of 10 seconds for the fade so 1 - 10 secs your ok for longer fades no option.

So can I set the fade to be constantly happening while I am recording? So, let’s say I record a 5 second loop, and stack on top of it. With fade “on”, will the orignal 5 second loop fade out and then the stacked stuff START the fade out after that is added? So the older quieter loop gets replaced with louder new loop, while they are all in their own 10 second fade journey?

Loopers' MAIN PROBLEM = staying synced to a beat. This quantizes to the measure of its internal drummer, BUT WILL IT STAY "SYNCED" to an external drum (BeatBuddy) set to the same bpm? This would fix the obvious problem of mixing drums and guitar together (or add a bass with drum!)

YES!!! Circle Looper's beats per minute sync "close enough" so we can easily hit the looper button and the loop "quantizes" or stops on the bar, or close enough it does NOT hiccup and get further off with each loop cycle (on some Beat Buddy beats ONLY, because Beat Buddy beats get recorded with human drummers, so they too are not as accurate as digital. Who cares? Record the Beat Buddy into the loop! TAKE NOTES OF CIRCLE LOOPER DRUM AND TEMPO for your loops, in case you need to recreate, or move slots. Seems circle looper's software handles the metadat about its beats and tempo, so write things down to edit .WAV loops in Audacity for loudess, EQ, etc. and import new WAV files into the looper. Circle Looper uses 24 bit, and Boss RC-3 uses 16 bit, so pay attention when you edit/export/save or create files exfernally, in Audacity, for example. I love my Circle Looper! I did cover the looper button with a cap to avoid mistakenly hitting it during a step to Stop, which avoids going into Record mode and polluting your backup loop. You cannot clear, or delete, imported loops except through the computer software.
