This is such a clean Mod! This was the first thing I ever attempted to Circuit Bend.

Lil breadboards make for excellent patchbays. My old PSS560 had one for all kinds of analog noise bends.

Yep. Incredible design and bends.

Holy shit, you really went to town on this thing lol. Great work dude. I love seeing bends that actually add musicality/functionality to an instrument, and this build has that in spades

Hej, thanks a lot! Yes, you could really use this machine on stage, it's quite unpredictable but stable in terms of timing and "back to normal". So far, I never shoot it to nirvana ;-)

Did you retain the pads,and made them triggerable?if yes do you just have to connect them to a jack on?
@9VDC Жыл бұрын
For this machine i just swapped out the pads with arcade buttons; but you need an extra little circuit for the s-trigger conversion (LookMumNoComputer). The pads can be reused in an adequate project as they are simple piezo discs.

Like this. Parts remind me of Teenage Engineering PO drums. Q: how would I connect this to my Keystep Pro & dawless set up?

Thanks! There are 4 Trigger inputs. Just give it some CV Voltage (Gate) and the "former drumpads" will be triggered (you could even touch the cables) - the unit also has a random drum sound selector mode :-) and the trigger inputs work indepently from the rest of the machine so you can create cool poly-rhythms. All in all quite versatile
