IN HYDRAULIC MOSTLY THREE POSITION DCV ARE USED...NORMAL CONNECTION SHOULD BE FROM MIDDLE POSITION...NO NEED TO SHOW THE RESERVIOR AND PUMP AT TWO POSITION.KEEP IT AT MIDDLE POSITION,SHIFTING OF POSITION LEFT TO MIDDLE OR RIGHT TO MIDDLE WILL BE OK...ITS MY OPINION THAT CONNECTION OF SUPPLY (PUMP),TANK OR TO THE SYSETM ARE FIXED,,,ONLY INTERNAL SHIFTING IS THERE...

Dotted line on PRV: It is a kind of signal/connection from the line to PRV which informs PRV about the pressure... Once the pressure is increased in the line upto its set point... PRV relieves the pressure...
