I got married there in 1995 and at that time, they had the prettiest wedding chapel on the strip. My wife went to everyone, and she picked that one. Sure, it's gone downhill, but I'll always have fond memories.

I remember years ago it was $1.99 buffets and no 'spit shields" Ha!

I’m glad Circus Circus is there. I love vintage Vegas and it serves its purpose. It’s really the only place on the strip to get that vintage feel now.

I remember the $4.99 stainless steel plain rooms of the 90s Circus Circus Buffet. My friend was 6'3" & maybe 200 pounds & only had 2 plates; I was 120 pounds wet back then & I had 4 or 5 plates of food. Everyone is still amazed at how much I can eat when there is a lot of food in front of me. Marc remembers Thanksgiving 2023.

OMGoodness! Frozen appetizers buffet. Hostess fruit pies. Beware of the fish. The soup looked like it was watered down. Shaking my head: NO!

That buffet isn’t worth five bucks! Macaroni and cheese, corndogs, mashed potatoes and gravy, all that crap is extremely low food cost. They’re using powdered crap and The cheapest ingredients they should pay people to eat there.

I missed you by 8 days, we walked over from Sahara on the 12th at like 2 in the morning just to check it out take a few pictures that we were there and walked back over. We walked fast because there was some shady action going on in the parking lot. I’m glad we didn’t eat there… I would not have been happy!

Their buffet reminds me of the buffet in Vegas Vacation. “ I’ll have some of the yellah” “don’t get cheap on me” 😂 love cousin eddy. Also just during our last trip to Vegas last month. We took the kids to circus circus buffet for breakfast. All they had was scrambled eggs, beacon, sausage, oatmeal and maybe cereal. It was pretty depressing. I think I took a bit of each, didn’t finishing anything. But another great video! ❤

Marc, I figured it out! We first met at the water guns inside the blimp that was in the middle of the lazy river area ! Remember? We were yelled at for squirting the ladies that were tanning (from 25 feet away if we swung the gun a certain way!) That's gotta' be where. The buffet hasn't even changed paint ! Wow, I didn't know your first job was at Circus Circus. Ha ha. Mine was Carl's jr. The midway games set this place apart from all the other resorts in Vegas. I can't see why everybody is so negative on this place. It gives you a unique and vintage Vegas experience, like no other.

I love circus circus … took my daughter there for two of her bdays she rather go there than Disneyland or Universal.. adventure dome n water park so fun fun for the kids. The arcade and circus performances are legendary.

I haven’t been or eaten there since I was a kid / teenager and not liking it then but it was cheap also it was about the arcade. I’ve stayed there once in the rooms in the back felt like I stepped into the 70’s and 80’s shaggy carpet and dated decor never went back. Overall I do have a lot of great memories of circus circus. The place still looks the same to me for the most part. Thanks again for another great video Marc and you might half to cleanse after eating that stuff😂.😃

We walk through for the nostalgia as we first stayed here in 1989. The Steakhouse in Circus Circus is still topnotch and we pretty much go there every year out there.

One of the first casinos i ever visited about twenty years ago. Watched the circus acts and thought it was kinda hokey. I would give my right nut to be able to enjoy stuff like that now. Don't ever get old.

We have all experienced or at least virtually visited the chamber of culinary horrors that is the CC buffet and I guess this was the point of this video. However, with that said, seeing the Circus Circus through your teenage lens was really an interesting trip. I’m glad there are other old dogs that still appreciate what Vegas once was, from the iconic porte cochere (that cantilever amazes me), to the carousel bar, a great time travel Mark! Thanks for the memories.

Years ago, maybe 35 years, my mom and I stayed there for 2 days, on our way to San Diego to the naval base. I swear, it has the same carpet! The food back then was much cheaper and just as bad!

They will not let you live this one down. I give you an A for effort. I honestly love Circus Circus, but yeah I don't know if I'd even do this buffet sadly. You did survive though, and the friends didn't beat you up afterwards though. And WTF with the bowls, wouldn't those be the worst thing for soup and slightly melt.... Joe's face is priceless with the fish. And thank you for being another person that knows that Carrot Cake is fantastic. My first time ever in Vegas as a kid was staying at Circus Circus so it will always be one of those things I never want to see gone.

Thanks for trying! I remember it being pretty good food (not great but good) especially for the price. And considering they do everything at Circus Circus for budget minded families in mind, it makes sense.

I remember my grandparents taking me there back in 88. They had 4 long buffet lines side by side, all identical. The food was so bad the only saving grace was the fried chicken although the pieces were tiny and overcooked.

The Pizzeria is really good... we used to walk by thinking it was just like mall food court pizza.. but it's really good with it's own distinct taste. We have eaten there many times.

Circus circus used to have a little cafe kind of towards the back. They had an awesome crab salad back in the day. ( 80s) Of course none of the stores were in there back then. It was the fanciest casino in Vegas back then. Remember the fountain well.😊. My favorite along with the frontier, the dunes and sands.

Great video.circus circus buffet may have changed since our last visits to las vegas.ok for my family and I because of price reasonable cost budget wise I guess.a lot cheaper then other buffets at other casino resorts in las vegas.

Excellent video as always! The chainsaw sound for the chicken finger made me crack up. Stay away from the dinner buffet, check! I'd try the breakfast one, its hard to mess up breakfast. How was the smell? Was it smoky or that overpowering incense smell? After watching the video, I'd go there and visit. Thanks Marc and crew!

Fly The Chicken Save The World! I've always felt _Circus Circus_ buffet was for kids, but after seeing those concrete chicken strips, I don't even think that! I like Circus Circus though and I'm glad they've cleaned it up on the casino/Slots A Fun end. They should get a new cook. They could even have the same menu, just better quality! Swai is the cheapest edible fish. It's a bottom feeder and largely considered unhealthy because it's grown in dirty waters and with a lot of antibiotics. It's not a bad fish under regulations though. Serving it rolled was kind of odd. Not having taco toppings was also odd!

I wonder if one day you would make a video about tagging along an electrician on his daily duty of replacing burnt light bulbs that are heavily scattered all around Las Vegas, especially riding on a sky lift for the ones that are high high above Fremont's ceilings 👍👍

Circus Circus is still my favorite hotel. This is when the casino owners did what ever it took to get your business/money. Now all the casinos are all about, "Look at my great hotel. As a matter of fact you are lucky to be here, and you will have to pay to park."

If someone has children and is not in the best financial situation this place may suit them just fine and they would be thankful there is a place in Vegas they can afford. The prices have gone thru the roof. At Circus Cirus it’s the fun gaming you can enjoy that counts. Folks who can afford to can always sleep & eat elsewhere. That’s the beauty of life, we have options. 😊

Lol the buffet food looked worse than school cafeteria food. The expression on Joes face after that one bite says it all. The buffet used to be one of the best they used to boast about having the biggest plates like you said easily fixed I too love the circus circus I got to go there on vacations with my folks It was brand new back then and a ton of fun they had bumper cars and beautiful fountains custom slot machines with clowns and ballon lights that would flash when you won anything I also got to meet some movie stars because I was staying there when they filmed a James bond movie there lots of fond memories we would win so many stuffed animal prizes that it would fill up the entire car for the ride back to CA in the big chevy impala lol thank you so much for sharing I remember one of the stage acts back then was a guy with a bunch of chimpanzees they would bring them out under a blanket or tarp on a big cart and they would be reaching out from underneath when they went by in the crowd also they had carousel ponies on a track in the sky with beautiful bikini showgirls on them passing out long clown ballons like Mardi gras beads while they played a song called won't you take a ride in my beautiful ballon crazy stuff stuck in my head from when i was a kid having fun at the circus circus also they had a show where a mad professor would turn a native woman into a big mean gorilla and jump out into the crowd to scare the hell out of everyone Zambura the gorilla girl lots of fun.

It was fun to watch. Canada. I was there in 2005 and 2006. I stayed at Imperial Palace first time and next time at Riveria which is gone now. I would love to go back but spend time on Freemont Street instead of the strip. I wouldn't eat at the buffets in Vegas. They are way over priced.

Swai fish is an imported fish from Vietnam that is supposed to taste like cod or halibut but is a fraction of the cost. Great video. LOL Marc I ate there way back when I was younger and it was pretty good maybe because I was young lol. Only did it a few times then found the Steak House. Only ate there after that because it's so good. The slots were always good to me there so I had no complaints. Sorry to see it go down hill.❤

I appreciate the great video, Marc, but I'm not completely sure I can do this buffet. I can, however, play the old-time coin slots! Circus Circus is one of the few casinos still offering slot machines of yesterday.

make sure you get some of the green stuff and yellow stuff and blue stuff. And get some bread pudding, it's extra runny.
