Yeah it's always 100% correct for cops to ride in the back seat of the car of someone who has been reported as almost running over a person and then kicking them in the chest, and then saying they are detaining them, but not detaining them back and forth. And saying "Well we have no room for the guy you reported running someone over so we're going to let him drive himself to the police station" ??????

Seems to be a thing with these Russian police officers. This kind of scene would never happen in Finland. The officers (always at least two in a squad car) would separate the two groups and and interview them. the first who can't behave will be sat in back of the police car to cool off.

For the first question its about paper work. Its not only in Russia. In most of countries police on street dont like paper work, so they send people to stations + its also small break for them(few minutes in peace in station is better than on the street or car that you sit all day). I would recommend listening police frequencies of your local police, Its sometimes hilarious and show how sometimes this job is annoying(dealing with drunks, old people and small car accidents). If you dont have CB radio, there are lots of apps for phone that provide online versions of Police frequencies from all around the world, or even specific cities. I often listen them few years ago at night.

I was in Russia for a while and many girls say they are doctors or lawyers. The reason this is said is because many girls in Russia (honestly, almost all of them - so many it is unbelievable) do get a degree in law school or medical university. But they cannot get jobs in these fields, so they are secretaries or work in the bank etc but still say I am a doctor or lawyer, because on paper, they are, and in Russia it all has to do with impressing other people. Showing strangers that you have what they call a "higher education" makes them feel better about themselves, many feel better than other people when pretending this way. It is probably one of the most ricidules things about Russian girls, 90% of them are all about trying to impress people how good/smart they are. Other than that, Russians are nice people, they just think a bit backwards.

Тут как раз полиция действовала профессионально, всё объяснили и доставили всех в отдел для разбирательства. Не имеет право кто-либо портить частную собственность, в том числе и наклейками. Это самоуправство, а также умышленная порча имущества. Хотя и водитель не имел право бить парня, а должен был вызвать полицию и написать заявление. По поведению парня в чёрной одежде сотрудники могли предположить, что он попытается скрыться, поэтому доставили его и его друзей на служебном транспорте. Ни какой закон не регламентирует порядок перемещения сотрудника с места вызова до отдела, так что нарушений со стороны полиции однозначно нет.

По-большому счёту, стоп-хам в данной ситуации провокаторы - никто пробку по тротуару не объезжал, не парковался, так чтоб мешал кому-то пройти. Им просто надо докопаться до водителей, создав контент для ютуба. При этом сами они нарушают как минимум три статьи :"Уничтожение или порча чужого имущества", "Самоуправство", "Мелкое хулиганство". И кстати, в ПДД перечисленны ситуации, при которых ездить по тротуарам можно.

Sometimes they take people to station and beat up hardcore. So its 50/50 legit and corrupt police. Happened to my friend like 13 years ago in Latvia. It was if i am right in Riga police station. They messed him up good... Dunno the reason. The guy is usually not looking for trouble and was cooperative. I hope this doesn't happen anymore. They are supposed to protect people not to assault them.

i wonder, if its not possible for them, to call police inspection, or other patrol to help, when police acts against the law like this.... in my country you may call inspection on any police officer and they are supposed to come and see and act somehow / do something to prevent injustice caused by police... of course, thats in theory, and i am not sure if (or how) it would work in practice even here...

Sounds like poor overall quality of the police infrastructure, in that case. Can't change that on the street level. I sometimes agree that these guys are wasting their effort in the wrong place if it's actual change they're after. But their movement is not about that, instead focusing more on ideological change; to promote self-discipline in the people who are too used to blatantly disregarding certain laws because everyone's doing it.
