This video demonstrates the tactics used by ninja commandos of CISF to counter terror attacks.
SSG, a wing of the paramilitary Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), is a specialised force like the National Security Guard (NSG) and currently has 1,200 personnel. SSG commandos, who are trained at par with NSG personnel, currently provide security to 75 VIPs under Z plus, Z, Y Plus, Y and X categories across India. Apart from providing VIP security through its SSG wing, the CISF, which came into existence in 1969, is mandated to provide security to critical infrastructure like nuclear installations, space establishments, airports, seaports, power plants, sensitive government buildings, heritage monuments and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Is A Para Military Force & Not A Part Of Indian Military , They Are Interior Security Forces Of India With A Main Focus On Guarding All Airports In India , Sea Ports & National Monuments Of India Of Heritage & Historical Importance etc. They Are Controlled By The Central Home Ministry & Not By The Indian Ministry Of Defence Or The Indian Military , So They Are Officially Not A Part Of Our Military , But They Can Be Deployed In Military Missions As Required By Military Time To Time.

Ministry of Defence: (a) Indian Army (b) Indian Navy (c) Indian Air Force 2. Ministry of Home Affairs: (a) SSB (Shastra Seema Bal) (b) CISF(Central Industrial Security Force) (c) CRPF(Central Reserve Police Force) (d) ITBP(Indo-Tibetan Border Police) (e) BSF(Border Security Force) Parallel (MoHomeAffairs+MoDefence) (f) AR(Assam Rifles) (g) ICG(Indian Coast Guard) (h) NSG(National Security Guard){they are chosen from the best among the above} Plus Ministry of Home Affairs also look after the IPS(Indian Police Service) and IB(Intelligence Bureau) and even advices(gives intel) to RAW(Research & Analysis Wing). Being in CISF is like endless training... Courses after courses. Sometimes you think of giving up due to the endless upgradation of skills&knowledge which we sometimes think 'unnecessary' I know that our brothers from BSF, CRPF etc encounter real life situations almost everyday. While in CISF, you rarely encounter real-'life-threatening' situations. But each and every CISF commando is trained.... trained and trained again and again until multiple skills are acquired. . No wonder why only 'the best candidates' are selected for CISF and the rest are given(inducted in) other paramilitary forces in every recruitment.
