One of my favourite things about the Cities of Sigmar army is the freedom to try out new schemes on different units! Thanks to ‪@officialwarhammer‬ I got a lot of Cities goodies in the post lately and I wanted to have this guy for you today as he's one of my favourites. Hope you like the scheme as well as my reason for adapting it slightly from the book art! I will be doing more videos on this army very soon once I recover from streaming the Age of Sigmar Six Nations event this weekend (4/5 Nov) on my twitch channel!

Wow. Just wow. That is... the flat out strangest model I have ever seen. Only squigs and squiggoths can compare. You painted it brilliantly, but now I feel a need to start looking into whatever madness spawned such flat out weirdness.... (Obviously, I haven't paid much attention to the Sigmarverse!)

Putting a dude on top of another dude to double the ratio of dudes per area is a genius move. I'm waiting for the halfling assistant piggybacking on the fussilier to TRIPLE the ratio. Anyway, back to Twitch!!! I'll save this one for later.

That really stands out. I would never have gone with yellow, that will really pop on the table. I would love to see the eagle next, please, I've got so many winged minis and could use the pointers on doing the feathers right.

Very cool model - I know these AoS videos don't do as much traffic as 40k stuff but it's great to see the painting process for one of these. It's nice for me to see techniques on fantasy models as I can use them on my Blood Bowl stuff!

About 25 years ago I met a dude who had a nice WHFB 5th ed Empire army who had a silly conversion of his general riding on top of an ogre. This model has the same energy.

Looks great and seems like it wasn't too time-consuming! This particular model reminds me of the krule boy riding the... Troggoth? Whatever that monster was. Also great to paint, also a little guy riding on top of a less little guy lol. If I run into some extra hobby funding, I do wanna pick up one of the cities of sigmar sets that's still kicking around. Beautiful models

Yes! It’s pretty much the human version of that guy 😄 not sure who copied whom! The cities range is definitely great for painting projects, so many models are art pieces of their own

Great tutorial! At first, I was a little bit sad that the yellow turned out so green, but it looks amazing in the end result. I still wouldn’t classify as yellow, but the colour scheme is amazing. More fantasy, please!

Looks great. I like the yellow and black theme you did here. Wearing these vibrant colors of their house, standing out on the battlefiled & catching the enemy's eye, like issuing a fearless challenge. As for the next mini, I'm leaning towards that griffon. Such a nice looking model & looking forwards to see your work on it.

Love Cities of Sigmar, and AoS models. Great scheme, striking and simple, really helpful reference for the oft more complicated non-40k models. Keen to see more cities stuff, the Cannon, tahlia, heroes set (the big Armoured dude looks especially great) and the alchemist warforger (looks like a 'must have' unit from the battletome!)

Mallet is not only a hammer, it is also a weapon. A mallet is a close range warhammer. Also cheap to make.

The old colour scheme for greywater fastness was yellow with black trim but it was changed for this new army book, so you did remember right
