Cable cars are great for connecting parts of your city across barriers such as rivers and highways. And of course, going up and down steep slopes. Cable cars also work well as feeders for monorail stations. Route them down alleyways. The alleys make excellent bike and pedestrian paths. Cable cars also work well in nature reserves, large zoos and amusement parks and along waterfronts. If you have a long entertainment district like the Las Vegas strip, cable cars are a great way for tourists to get from one attraction to another. They are also useful for getting around a large airport with multiple terminals, parking garages, transit choices, etc. They are much less invasive on their surroundings than most other forms of transport. The cables are cheap and unobtrusive. They leave the at-grade right of way clear, unlike buses, trams and trains. They don't require tracks and overhead power lines like trams and electric trains. They are only considered noisy in localized areas right around the stations where you want to zone commercial and office anyway. They aren't expensive like tunnels and metros. They don't disgorge large numbers of passengers all at once, unlike trains, metros, planes and ships. This makes it much easier for the connecting transport infrastructure to handle the stream of passengers gracefully without becoming clogged with traffic. There's never any waiting because the gondolas arrive so frequently and the ride is pleasant and conducive to sightseeing.

Absolutely stunning. Your determination to get that monorail smooth is admirable, and something my patience wouldn't allow me to do. As a result, my cities tend to be a bit winky wonky. Clearly that hard work pays off. And also, I've learned so much from these videos. Especially your videos on industries has helped me. Never have I ever had a problem with industry traffic on my post-finding-your-videos -industry areas. Its ahviously thanks to you ;)

Can i make a suggestion for an odd space filler, you can use the Japanese restaurants from the content creator pack and what i like to do is place them in odd spaces in nice areas and fill in the rest of the odd space with a really nice restaurant garden and tables with a patio and rockery and other props, maybe a play area or a water feature and finally some lighting and i fence it off for privacy of the people eating their meal in the garden area, It can make your city restaurants really pop and look pretty. I try not to tunnel but if i must tunnel then i keep the track level and tunnel straight before i decend and i always decorate the tunnel entrance and exit with rocks to make the tunnel look a more realistic and natural

Nice video! You said you had other sort of complete cities in other maps such as crater falls. Do you basically develop that city to 100k pop and then make another city using the same map?

Will you ever do a lightly modded playthrough series, using the most popular easy of life mods eg. Move it, traffic manager etc. Maybe add realistic population and realistic life cycle.
