I wanted to address a comment along the lines of "will you add this or that" (and it's many variants) that keeps coming up... Just want to let you know that this is only 20% finished, we are adding details in layers and each of us is focused on specific tasks so, for example, it'll take about 3 weeks before I start adding the runway markings, and another few weeks before I add the taxiway signs, and so on.

You are absolute masters of this game! Amazing! :) And I can't wait to see this grow even more and get all the details and stuff in! How do you get the patience for this? :) Also, wonderful commentary that you guys do, it's so entertaining and informative at the same time, really great stuff! The way Strictoaster laid down the taxiways and runways is impressive: using pedestrian roads and national roads to broaden the ways, create markings and create the curves where taxiways and runways intersect . I saw other CSL airport creation videos but I prefer Strictoaster's way of doing it.

I just started watching this series, trying to get a good inspiration for my airport... I got frustrated with my thoughts of how to go through with taxiways, trucks, baggage carts, but you've even moreso expanded my ideas!! :D Imagine baggage carts for each airline with their own colors, stopping on the stands? LOVE IT! AH! Can't wait to try a small scale version first, thank you guys for this!

This is really awesome and actually looks super realistic, but I do hope you don't mind if I give a bit of advice here. It's unrealistic that even a major international terminal would have that high of a ratio of A380 and 747 aircraft (the only ones I can think of that would ever have that many together are LAX and DBX). Especially with some of those not being "real" moving parts of the game, you may want to consider switching some of the A380s with other long-haul (and more efficient) planes like the 777, 787, or A350. Just some food for thought, otherwise it's coming together really great!

One note. They dont jam the brakes becuse they want to vacate early. (Well, in some cases, yes.) Almost all big airports have a specified runway occupancy time. For example San Fransisco. Arriving traffic are separated with a mimimum of 3NM. (+ wake turb. separation). In some cases, airplanes are told to vacate at a specific point. Ryanair for example uses autobrakes 3 as standard OPS at all airports.

Dear Strict. Hi. I work at Australia's biggest airport as an avionics maintenance engineer. You should know a few things about big and medium air ports. There is an area with medium and large hangars where small FBO (fixed based operators) are at. Here companies fly business man in private jets, do maintenance or emergency air lift planes or helicopters are based. You should lay it out as 4 or five hangars with a small building attached to it. One Business jet half in a hangar and one fully in for some and some with propeller planes in them (maintenance licences are separated by jet engine and propeller engine so they are done in different hangars. Then there is a large concrete area in front of them. Cones around planes nose tail and wing tips that's mandatory. Another large concrete area for special events like diplomats that don't go into hangars and need their planes separated. (Obama is actually here right now parked outside my work, his plane parked near by and then when he got off it moved away to the special area). You will also need small roads going around the airport that looked merged into the concrete plane parking areas (as in same concrete type and the only way to know it's a road is line markings. Another hangar someone in the middle of the terminals are where airport fire department and security and safety personale are. Oh and a big side gate with a bit of road where police can stand which leads directly to to where the FBO's are for the diplomats to just rush through with a police escort. Put a plane or two where the small building that are attached to the hangar are but not all of them. That's the businessman getting on the plane to leave. Put cones around them too. Don't put messy crates like you did in senu. Airports are insanely picky about cleanliness. We had roles Royce come to do an inspection to renew our licence so we can repair their engines. They saw one washer on the floor that was it. They said they'll come tomorrow and if it's perfect they'll pass us.

*SUGGESTION:* Do not put buildings near the airport in your cities if you want a safer city ... Here in Brazil in the city of São Paulo we have an airport in the middle of the city (Congonhas Airport) ... On July 19, 2007 a commercial plane was to take off even with the wet track but could not rise ... The plane passed the runway and fell from the airport over an avenue and beteu in an office building ... more than 200 people died and today the place where the building was and a memorial to that remarkable day.

The largest airport in the world is Chicago O’Hare with 8 runways. I think Beijing is getting an 8 runway airport and there are a few sixes around the us in Boston and Detroit I think. Denver has a big one too, six or seven. Your airport looks super inefficient on space. I think Atlanta and Chicago midway have stellar designs if you have land area in mind. Just my two cents.
