This is a showcase timelapse through the fictional tropical island of Aya Costa located somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. This video includes most of the Analucia Expressway, National Route 7 and the Airport Expressway.

So in alternative history, Aya Costa is basically a "overseas territory" of Spain in the Pacific which had not being surrendered to the United States had Spain won the Spanish-American War over a century ago. Or maybe it might be a former Spanish territory (just like the Philippines, Guam and CMI) which had been seceded to the US (after the States had won the war) and turned into a US unincorporated "unorganized" insular territory in 1908 and then turned into US unincorporated organized territory in 1931 (like American Samoa and Guam), in which the status still remain until today. Despite the status of Aya Costa as a US territory, more than 75% of Aya Costans want their territory to be a US state, or join with CMI to form a new US state. Even Aya Costan road signs are identical to the ones in the US. My alt history is kinda silly, but that's just my opinion :-)

I would say it is kind-of like a pacific ocean Singapore or Hong Kong, with the three official languages being English, Spanish and the native language Analucian, with English being the majority. Due to it's history it has both been under U.S posession and Spain. The road structures are a mix of european and american standards ( similar to South American countries ). Aya Costa is a laissez faire free market economy and by many regarded as the Cayman Islands of the Pacific. Much of the island was created under private development with aide from the Aya Costa government. Since the 1950's it has been pretty much an economic experiment by European, Japanese and U.S business interests.
