Got this in gold but not too big or flashy. Had it about 10 years and hey so many compliments and a few who recognise it "hey, is that a Ana digi?!". Still love it.

I just received this a couple of days ago. I bought it brand new from Japan for like $300. I’m really into retro watches and I’ve never seen this watch before. When I first at it, it blew my mind on how cool it looked. I just love everything about this watch. It also looks better in person.

I bought mine in 1988. It was actually the 8984 version. I still have it in an inmaculate status and I still love it.

While still studying college in 1989 , my coursemate had one and I assume must be an old watch he is wearing but he kept it running by sending it for repair and it cost a lot of money. He was lost in MH370 and he was attached to the Motorola company. When I saw this reiisue watch selling in my country. I was shocked whether it is a second hand model. But it is not but a reissue but this time it is made in china with Japan movement. However I wish they put in KED for back light instead of the incandescent bulbs of yesteryear. My friend have not been found till date. This watch remind me of him as he is the only person that wear this watch till date.

Such a fun watch. Saw they are releasing a couple of Star Wars versions of this that look cool. Thinking could wear a bit big with those integrated lugs ....

It sucks that the reissue has already been discontinued. It's a great looking watch and I'd love to pick one up. Currently, they're making a few Star Wars collab versions of this watch, but I have zero interest in Star Wars. I just want a cool retro looking watch, not some nerdy crap!

I have this piece and I love it.

I used to have an atomic watch, a Casio I think, that was analog with a small digital display too. It struck me as astonishingly ugly so I bought a purely analog Citizen atomic watch with an H145 movement. Wore it for ten years, still have it, beaten up but the sapphire crystal is still perfect. Reception of WWVB from south Florida is shaky but often the watch manages to do it.

My dad gave me one like this..an old one actually .. the belt was broken and I replaced it with a leather one.. ngl looked better i wear it almost everyday because it's so light and actually looks pretty good

I have an original 8982 in the Gold still in good working condition, I got it from my uncle who bought it in the 80's & passed it on to me about 20 years ago, I have always liked this watch even though now in my older years its, kind of hard to read because of the small size of all the printed text & lcd size, but its always been seen as a futuristic watch, even people who see it today, can not believe this technology was from the 80's, they think because we did not have idiot phones we lived in the dark ages, lol

Hey man can you do an update video on this watch?! How do you like it now? How often do you use it? How long does the battery last?! Considering how cool of a watch this is there isn't much general feedback about how it performs in the wild. Anyways cheers ....Im inches from buying one and cant seem to absorb enough info atm. *update I received my watch and its bloody amazing....I noticed your Analog A2 registers 1 second ahead..mine did that too all you need to do to fix it is manually adjust it and it will be corrected for the stop watch setting also after that

It's a battery killer. The second hand goes every two secs to let you know. I have a lifetime battery card at Timpson UK lol. More fool them. They are currently rebranded as Star Wars watches for silly money. I love mine. Pretty unique
