My name is Shaima. I was born in Islamabad/ Pakistan, but moved to Germany when I was a kid. Right now I am working as a German teacher in Germany. And I have multiple years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language. I didn't know there is an interview I thought there is only a written exam!.

Yes, when you are called in to submit original documents, you are asked everyday questions to check your language skills. There is no written exam.

Yes you need to sit Einbürgerungstest before you submit your citizenship application. After your documents are reviewed you are asked to come in for a short talk (conversation).
