I listened to the audio only versions of ICU, Without You, Black Hole Brain & Made By Misery earlier & loved all of them lol Without You had me in tears again cause it reminds me of a relative that passed last year & i was like "i feel like this could be how he secretly felt"

Played this song last Friday for my wife. It was her first time hearing it. She broke down and had to pull over. Why? It was 7 years to the date of my last attempt. It describes everything that happened that day except the cutting part. It also showed her who cares in my family. My mother wanted to pull the plug! I'm back to 90% of what I was at the time of attempt. FU, to the narcissistic egg donor! Seems she only wanted me dead for the attention she would have received.

This song by them hits hard for me. My mental health has been so screwed up lately and I've had so many thoughts of just ending everything but I won't do anything bc Ik there are people out there that care about me and that would miss me if I did take my life and Honestly, I plan on animating a music video to this song and posting it to my channel bc I enjoy making videos with songs by citizen solider to help raise awareness about mental health and to let people know that you aren't alone and that its okay to reach out for help if you need too. Wonderful reaction video. 🙂 (Also, Idk why I just noticed this but the lyrics "I see you" kinda sounds like the word Icu is being said)

Everyone has a right to talk about any issues they have and mental health struggles they're going through. Telling them it's selfish and to keep it to themselves is fucked up

@@PitifulAlloy7 Thanks for sticking up for me but honestly, I get told things like that a lot so It's made it hard for me to talk about my mental health. I mainly just keep everything to myself unless Its a person I really trust bc I don't wanna be judged for anything.

Getting told stuff like that is why it's so difficult for people to reach out when they need help, and I won't tolerate that kind of talk in my community. We're all here for each other, and we all support each other, and no one is going to say that you should keep it to yourself because they think it's selfish. They have no right to say that

I know for a fact that I've almost been there myself. I'm lucky that the pills I took all made me throw up before a trip to the ICU was necessary. And yea, this is such a powerful song! I'm glad that you're still here!

Thank you, same to you every day is hard some a little less, I’m thankful for support like you, and others who have been there, citizen soldier has helped more than anything, I constantly push them post reels etc, I got to meet him last October during one of the acoustic concerts, I waited in a long line, I really wanted to thank him. He’s always checking on us encouraging us I wanted to tell him thank you for releasing Good Enough For God, since he had had some flack on it, he looked at me this giant of o man and with utmost sincerity he said” thank you that really means a lot to me, can I hug you?” I got a selfie w him. I am going to the show May 11 in Greensboro to see him again. Anyone who has felt this way, been lost, alone, depressed, anxiety, loneliness, self harm, feeling worthless, thinking no one understands, they do 🫶🏻
