It appeared to cope with the hills surprisingly well ! Definitely a plus in Cornwall. I would not mind one for my impending retirement although being 105 miles away from the Citroen dealer may be a bit of a problem when it comes to servicing and repairs.

Absolutely love it. If I didn't have a weekly 100 mile motorway round trip, I'd have one in a flash. Hopefully will one day!

Fantastic, I cant wait to see them on the used market so I can remove the speed limit. I also see enough room is under the body to may be fit a 35cc strimmer engine for a little extra mechanical drive and more importantly, Heat.

And you are spot on about efficiency of short runs, keep the petrol car you have and use it less is a much more achievable goal for most people than buy a new EV, having said that, the new MG4/5 looks like a good sign of what's to come. I'm a big fan of micro mobility devices for the same reasons, use a scooter for 10 minutes to get to the shops and back, and leave the car where it is - I'd be interested in your take on e-mobility in the UK considering the current illegal status of such devices.

How is the 28mph top speed ?, it seems perfectly adequate in town .

Wonderful! I like these, a lot. I too have a C3 Aircross, 2021 model and love it. Originally from Sussex but now live on the Co. Tipperary/Co. Clare border in Ireland. Ballina/Killaloe (not to be confused with the Ballina over West, recently visited by President Biden). My wife has a Yaris Hybrid, so a 'bit' of electric but oh, so economical - gives about 65 to 70 mpg, be it on a run or local journeys. For the two of us, in our 60's but mentally yet to grow up, the Toyota could easily become the 'big car'. We regularly use it to drive 2 hours on the motorway to visit family, surprisingly comfortable and capable. I digress. I'd quite like one of these for the local stuff. The roads here are, outside the village, rural and very hilly so it would indeed have to be local. I last had an Ami 8 Estate back in the 70's and that was a beautifully weird car but brilliant at the same time. I do have a micro car, a 1970 FIAT 500 - 499cc of throbbing air-cooled power, all 21 BHP of it - and I really do like good, small cars; the new 500 is much larger by comparison with the original. Enjoy your Ami, excellent at doing exactly what it's intended for; you're driving the future. Enjoyed the review.

As you say huge inside .... getting Optimate charge leads hooked to 12v battery to keep conditioned when parked up plus use of solar powebanks from Ecoflow Delta Max 2100w. ea. to boost range also getting waxoiled underneath. N3d door handle inserts useful and parasol retracting blind for roof.... very happy with solidity ... Bill in Sussex

Couple English guys living in Nice France have channel on this car. The problem they have is driving on gravel and slipping on very steep hills.. Think tyres need type upgrade

How was the drive from Plymouth to Bude in it? Fast roads (well compared to 28 mph) and at the limit of the vehicle's range... Sounds scary.

It´s surprisingly noisy inside, isn´t it? At least it saves you an expensive radio.

28 miles an hour....scary...small....but so much fun...maybe we need one which can do 40, and then that`s a game changer. Better than smart car.

Whats it like on the roads? I know people do their nuts over cyclists 'going slow', so i'd be interested to know if people get annoyed and overtake a lot?

If the world would just slow down we would all be in electric mopeds, scooters and the like. Instead it’s just weekly reports of cars doing 98mph in 60mph zones. As the saying goes “put a 20mph they’ll do 30, 30 it’s 40…..” and so forth. Anything under 40mph is a hindrance. When we bought 2 NIU 28mph EV (equivalent 50cc) mopeds, we though they were game changers. Instead the dealership sold more 45mph EV (125cc) because *nothing* goes along that slow in cities! Truth is, we have to stick to marked 20-30mph roads otherwise it’s just too dangerous

Shame it doesn’t do up to 50mph like other quadracycles

How many blind spots with all the frame struts? I’m not sure a car that is so limited is the way forward, basically it pushes you in to having more cars.

You keep saying car in your video, but it’s not a car, it’s a quadricycle. There is no safety structure at all, if you’re involved in anything beyond a low-speed bump you’re likely to sustain serious injury. Not worth the risk.
