Thus it may have been specifically imported for this event. It was at the show where Mum and Dad saw it and decided it was to be their car.

@@hardysorensen2161 unfortunately my dad had to go full into the brakes at 120 kmh because an elderly driver crossed the express road wirhout checking. My grandma was sitting in the back and during the crash her glassed were completely shattered after flying against the front window. After the crash, the police congratulated my dad with such stable braking marks on the road. The great suspension had probably saved their lives. The car was a totall loss. No one got seriously hurt.

We’re still looking for Freddo as he didn’t like it when I relocated the car to the other side of the house but it’s now back again and I hope he will find it again. I check every morning.

I am still looking for Freddo but I think he has changed his mind and lives in the pool that he came across on the way looking for the old parking spot. He’s still on the property. Thanks again. 👍

I am checking on the frog every day, but it hasn’t arrived back again after I parked it in a different spot, but it’s now back in the old carport.

We named him Fred. In remembrance of the first long time owner.

Freddo is not in residence at the moment but I am checking for him every morning and will let you know when he is.

I had a 1985 BX 1.9GT (bought at 2 years old). One of the many cool cars I bought used and sold then wished I'd kept. Brakes were never a problem but it wasn't a high miles car.

Thanks for your reply. Sadly they newer return to you. I had a DS 21 Pallas semi automatic transmission. In the 70 ties. Ohh I still miss it too. Oh the smoothness and worth every look 👀 from the humans.

But wait they do return. I'm buying back my green 2200 this coming weekend. I sold it 10 years ago. Same fellow I sold it to. He has done a marvellous job of upkeep.

Thanks for your reply and I think it’s a standard colour. This one was sold at the 1979 Sydney car display at the rotating platform. The first owner Fred bought it for his wife and I bought it from their daughter as a one owner. Lucky me.

@@hardybangsorensen1415 Cool ..so maybe it was specially imported by the NSW distributor . I remember light metallic blue, non metallic blue and perhaps silver , red (rare) beige and white of course.
