Citroen Xsara Picasso - digital dash bulb change on a fading dash. I changed 6 bulbs in all to get the digital display bright again. Two Torx T-15 screws have to be removed to get the display out, my friend had Torx T-20`s in his so there may be a difference in older cars.

I am going to carry out this bulb change in my son in-laws Picasso next week so this video is a great help. Just a small tip, when replacing any self tapping screws into plastic lightly press and turn the screw anti-clockwise and feel the screw drop into the thread and then tighten clockwise. This will prevent another thread being cut that may after replacing a few times strip out the thread.

Useful video. My Picasso dash has been getting progressively dimmer over the last few months so I've ordered some bulbs and will swap them out.

Literally just done this on mine. Probably the easiest dash bulb replace of any car.

I'm picking up a 07 plate Picasso in a week or two and I noticed that the display looked a bit dull. I'll check that the dimmer switch isn't set to low first, and if that's not the problem then I'll sit down one afternoon and do a complete swap with a new set of bulbs. Nice video.

Good video,but I'm surprised you didn't replace the warning lamp bulbs along the top of the display at the same time.

Nice job M8. I love my car so much I came to NZ with it 18 years ago and she's still running! I need to change the switch on the A/C because it randomly comes on and off... any tips please kind sir. New bulbs tomorrow!

Order box of ten bulbs off eBay or Amazon decent brand for less than those packets for future ref.

My local, citreon dealer wanted £5 per lamp not fitted, I went to europarts and they sold me the same bulbs for 50p each , he asked if I had just been to the dealer, he then looked embarrassed when I told him the dealer wanted £5 per lamp. Shocking.

I've not replaced my bulbs yet, but notice that they are bright sometimes then really dim another and strangely when I give the dashboard a tap on top they come on bright again for a day or two.. Any ideas anyone?
