This is a wig review of Citrus Mint by Belle Tress in the color Mocha with Cream. I'm also demonstrating how to defrizz heat friendly synthetic fibers. Citrus Mint is a beautiful, longer beach wavy style with some layers. She is medium density and has an extended lace front, a center mono part, and heat friendly synthetic fibers. I'm including styling options and color details.

Michele, in my opinion, this wig style, center part, and color is YOU! It matches your skin tone perfectly, and although you are quite young, this piece makes you look even younger! Girl, you can’t beat that with a stick! Just lovely!

Great review, as always. I have learned so much from your channel. I usually cut in bangs on my wigs and my next adventure, again from watching your instructions, is to trim my Citrus Mint to shoulder length once it becomes frizzy, as I do pull it off my face (didn't cut in bangs with this one) and often wear it up and/or in a pony. It is longer than I like but it had the kind of waves I wanted not found on other wigs, so I purchased it--and I love it. I chose the color margarita blond because at my age, 70, I can pass it off as gray/white. I have a closet full of the chromes that I also love, but as time passes I think this color with its light root looks more natural for me. Thanks again for your inspiration and diligent instruction!

You're very welcome, Beatrix!😊 I have added that to my list of video topics. When to throw a wig out is really a question of personal preference. I think some wig wearers are more picky than others. In general, if you are wearing them every day, heat friendly synthetic wigs can last around 2-3 months with proper care and traditional synthetic wigs can last around 3-6 months with proper care. I have mostly worn synthetic wigs and they normally last me 3-4 months. I know that it's time to throw them out when the fibers start to clump together, when they no longer move naturally, and/or when they become too frizzy (if this is the only issue, I try to defrizz or trim the style first). They just start looking more wiggy and less like natural hair. Hope this helps!💖

I just looked online at the color. It’s just a swatch but it looks nothing like this wig here. I’m afraid to purchase based on what I’m seeing. :(. Any suggestions?

Hi Jody, those swatches that you see online are practically useless! I recommend searching KZfaq for the wig in the color you are interested in and watching different reviews. With the exception of Ellen Wille (her colors vary from style to style), you can also look at different wig styles from the same brand to see if you like the color. I would watch recently filmed reviews. Hope this helps!💖

Citrus Mint comes in Graphite (Charcoal base color with cool undertones and a touch of slate and quartz with a mixture of medium and darker charcoal roots) and Chrome (4R/51/56/60 | Cappuccino brown root with gradual mixture of 30% grey, 10% grey and white at the tip). Hope this helps!💖
