The First time I heard the lyrics for this song it made me stop in my tracks....It is the mirror image of my Beautiful sister.....if we could only control the pathways people we love take...and could take control of their uncontrollable situations....Thank you so much for this song .....

Our brother parted from us so soon n he listened to Dallas all the time.. My lil sister came across this song in it brought us to tears he had so much love for us as we did him.. to me, this song has so much meaning. it felt like dallas was singing this to me because these lyrics relate to me and my situation right now. i wish my brother would listen to this song, so he could realise and help me.. but the way dallas sung this, it felt like he was my long lost brother. anyone else relate?

I’ve been listening to this band since I was in middle school pretty much.. shared this song many years ago with my brother because he didn’t understand why I was struggling so hard with my ptsd & social anxiety.. 2016 I tried to take my life.. think it was really just a dark time for everyone…. I come back every now and again when I feel that way again to hear this song and remember what my brother might say if he knew o was back in that place

My 18 year old sister committed suicide in 1992. I was 2 years old then. Is it weird to miss someone you barely know? This song describes my feelings for her perfectly.
