I'm not even American but lived in the States for 7 years & the US Constitution is a beautiful document. 1st Amendment: Freedom Of Speech It's the 1st for a reason. It's the most important for a free society. If there's no Freedom Of Speech, there's no solid foundation for a free & fair society.

there was never freedom of speech. if you say "fire" in a movie theatre, by law, you can be arrested. if you say sexual things to a woman on the street, you can by law, be arrested

Dont forget sbout the Freedom of Press (also part of 1st amendment). It ensures that we can watch over the government without fear of being illegally silenced. It, when combined with the 2nd amendment) allow for a truly free society. The police are a standing army and James Madison warned sbout the dangers.

The Constitution just established a government for the people. The Bill of Rights introduced the first 10 amendments to the Constitution to give and keep the power with THE PEOPLE. James Madison authored it and he was a cool dude. Some of the other “founding fathers” wore wigs, married 12 year olds, and watched plays that had all male actors (drag queens). Nobody wants to accept those FACTS.

Beatriz Alves the Paralegal in the Legal Department in Marlborough, MA looks very young and she sounds very uneducated, uninformed and unaware when it comes to people's basic rights, the law, the Constitution, how to (and how not to) talk to and with members of the public...and she didn't seem to know a damn thing about MAYBE letting her boss KNOW about a developing and potentially NOT GOOD (for him, for the Mayor, for the City Council and for the City) situation. As Josh told her several times, she was simply being a paid, obedient, watchdog gatekeeper when she actually SHOULD HAVE gone and knocked on his office/meeting room door and informed him that Josh wanted to talk with him about a rights violation incident that had just occurred downstairs. Beatriz Alves may (or not) learn a valuable lesson about using her ability to think and to discern when something is important and may need to be dealt with directly BY the City Attorney as soon as possible...but she would HAVE TO TELL HIM ABOUT IT first so HE could make the decision to come and talk with someone or not. (Kids these days!)

It’s mostly legal departments in the government that are the last to know the law. They are run by those who couldn’t make it in the private sector, often bottom of the law school class. Graduate 76 out of 85 students from Syracuse and you could be President of the USA.

when in the assessors office ask them how much is the TOTAL valuation of the PROPERTY IN THE TOWN ...This total valuation of property in the town is the basis by which the towns tax rate/ $1,000 of assessed valuation is...with that and the budget of expenditures you can easily calculate how much in taxes each homeowner will be paying from assessed valuation of their properties...
