Thank you for that. Last time I was in Bradford was 2003, and I left Bradford in 1967 I love Australia, but I'll always remember where I grew up "You can take the lad out of Bradford, but you'll never take Bradford out of the lad". I'll be back again one day.

I spent almost 4 years in Bradford 2009-2014. Then I had to leave the Uk. It is nice and liveable city. I'm missing it

Thank you for this video.was a student at Bradford University 1978 t0 1981 .never got a chance to get to Bradford since then. This video bring me happiness.feel very young when I watch it.i will see Bradford again before I die-god willing.

Yeah it was a lovely town centre to visit many decades ago in the 80`s and 90`s. Now its just full of creeps, druggies and weirdos. Its an attraction for the worst in society.

Hahaha I'm in the video in 3 shots. I was watching this vid with my family on a big tv and i spotted my self. We had a good chuckle. I'm the Asian guy with stripe top to the left of the big issue selling lady next to ex virgin store. Then walking past Waterstones on the the right with my alpha g-male superstar walk, away from camera towards Broadway and then crossing the traffic lights towards the hotel to foster square

Yes, you`re right. Its certainly not a british name. My family`s origin was in the Punjab, and my roots were originally Hindu, before forced conversions to Islam took place centuries ago. My links are with South Asians in the other parts of the UK. I left Bradford a while ago because i was sick of being targeted constantly by the Muslim pakistanis and the whites that they were with. The place was looking more like a bloody mini Karachi with each passing day, and the muslim arse kissing from the local whites became too much to bear.

Yeah, i`ve never given a fuck about Islam, but i`m certainly no racist. The pakistanis and the whites seem to be extremely racist towards people of South Asian origin for some reason, and i don`t mean skin colour either, its a race issue which burns like hell in the north west of britain. You won`t see anyone south asian in the north, because of the racism from the whites and pakistanis. The so - called Labour council in bradford have been pushing their radical Islam agenda in bradford since the 80`s. Don`t they realize the dangers of this? Corbyn the commie is SO extreme with his views he makes Nigel Farage seem like a harmless kitten!!!

A lot of the so - called `refugees` have just wanted to use cities like Bradford as a toilet to piss on. Its not racist, just a fact. Idiots like corbyn and the green party prop up these middle class `refugees` whilst doing nothing to tackle real domestic issues facing the UK today. Another thing that really pisses me off is the fucking cover up that started happening in Bradford in the 80`s. Some of the South Asian girls got abused, exploited and used to bring over the new influx of hardcore Muslims into bradford in that decade. They were given freebies by the corrupt council, such as jobs, mortgage free houses, and free cars, all paid for by mugs like us. You can`t mention the scandal that happened back then coz its supposed to be good for diversity!!! ha ha, what a joke.

Loved the video, I grew up in Bradford and my family emigrated to the US in 1962. I have fond memories and friends in Bradford. Used to hang out in coffee bars, e.g. Alassio. Anybody remember DeGrey Street ? our first home in Bradford.

I was an overseas student at the UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD for 5 years and I felt I was studying and living in a Pakistani city rather than in an English city. Too many asian restaurants , too many Asian people , too many Asian shops and few true English people and shops. I should have gone to study in Bombay or Karachi, instead After I left Bradford, I had learnt more about Asian culture and traditions than English culture. I don't regret it . But I did not expect it at first.

Just think about this, if British colonies were bringing income instead of being a burden on the British people why did the crown ditched all it's colonies right after the WW2 when Britain was almost bankrupt? Wouldn't it be logical to keep the colonies and drain wealth so the could recover faster? Or the truth is, they no longer had the money to fund the colonies and had to get rid of them. Truth is stranger then fiction, my friend. Especially when you've been thought wrong and are too lazy to think for yourself.

i ve got to admit it s a bit true, business in city center is dead, a mac do , a market nexyt to a morrisson, virgin closed down, it s boring, the only attraction are the mobs fighting in the street at night after clubbin and the gal as well, no decency no more, when i came in 85 there was life there, west indie and a real melting pot, with great club , concert, pubs really great for someone who discover england in west yorkshire, yet people were asking me what the hell i was doing there so i reply , it s for the nice weather lol
