City Climb and The Edge in New York City (climbing & hanging off the side of a skyscraper!)

Gary got me a pretty EPIC birthday present this year and took me to do the City Climb in NYC! This is the highest open-air building ascent in the world and you are able to climb AND hang off the side of a skyscraper! As if this adventure wasn't amazing enough, our ticket also included access to The Edge so we were able to enjoy that experience as well! We hope you enjoy the video. If I can get my project passed I would like something like this without climbing through stairs. Of course it wouldn't be as high but you would be standing on a ledge over 500 feet above the city of Wichita.

We paid for the photo package before we got there but I think you can add it afterwards also! Have a great time! It is so fun! 😊

Cool video! When you guys went, do you remember how long it took to get outside after you arrived for your reservation time? Trying to catch sunset 😅

Roughly a 1/2 hour but we also had a small group, best suggestion is call ahead of time and see what they say. Hope you get an epic sunset!

So do u have to climb back down on the side of the building..or is an elevator an opposite

We had to go down stairs to get back down but on the inside!

How many floors are the steps you have to walk up when you're on the outside?

Hi, I was wondering what do you do to come down? Like you take the stairs and you go up and you lean and then how do you come down? back from the stairs? Also I was wondering is it possible to go up and not do the leaning part? Like a fool I agreed to do this with my friend who is a Girl to impress her but im scared of heights so im just trying to see if this is something I'll be able to do. thank you. the video was great btw

So once you get to the top and take your pics, which you do not have to lean over and hang if your aren’t comfortable doing it, you head down a few flights of stairs that are outside but towards the interior of the building. You won’t be near any ledges or anything like that. For the record I have a slight fear of heights, unlike my wife, and I was still comfortable doing 99% of the stuff, hope you have a great experience.
