In this video, we look back on the popular City Destruction tutorial by Video CoPilot and look at how to achieve a similar effect inside of Fusion. DaVinci Resolve Studio is required.
Also, I decided it was probably fine to share the sample footage. However, it's very important that you only use it for your own learning purposes. This was soo helpful! Finally understood the Camera Tracker :D I really like these long in depth tutorials! Also, instead of adjusting the Aspect manually, I like to merge it over a transparent background to get the comp size.

Very good tutorial. i have enjoyed watching it a lot. These different layers, which goes into the building are very creative. You could also choose a reference frame, allign elements in 2D, then duplicate the camera, unlock it and remove all keyframes except the one on the reference frame. pipe in the elements into this new camera which is set to projector /texture. Then use a catcher node into the alligned image plane. I think, this way you can be a bit more precise with alligning things. But this is just a different approach.

For this specific technique, no. But you may be able to get away with using the planar tracker on the buildings rather than using the 3D camera tracker.
