Considering that the show's target audience, and by extension, the TNBC block's target audience, was teens and the show was educational in nature (life lessons and Aesops ruled the day), episodes like this were quite common. Once a season, they did entire mornings with episodes of the TNBC series dealing with safety as a major plot point.

I remember stuff like this on Prime Time Shows like Happy Days when Joanie was about to get raped by a student and Fonzie came to her rescue and also, this scene almost reminds me of an episode of Step By Step when Al was about to get jumped on by a college guy and thankfully, her step sisters Dana and Karen came to her rescue and ran that dude off and Saved By the Bell: The New Class also saw Rachel get hurt by a guy named Craig and thankfully, someone else spoke up and thanks to Mr. Belding, he was ordered to get counseling Plus, Hang Time saw Mary Beth get raped and Coach Katowinski took care of him and turned him over to the cops

@@JasonDelarosa2000 Yeah, actually from 2001-2003 From 1999-2000, it was The Parent Hood on WB 11 then Kids WB, then in summer 2000, WB 11 moved The Parent Hood from 2:30pm to 2pm, and moved The Wayans Bros. from 5pm after Kids WB to right before Kids WB at 2:30, then September 3, 2001, The Wayans Bros. reruns were moved to 3AM as City Guys reruns filled that 2:30pm slot. :)
