Hats off to the fire crews who responded so quickly. I'm in the Bosque every single day and the fuel loads are terrible. It's dry as a bone and with the wind it's just a nightmare waiting to happen. For it to only be 30 acres is credit to their fast and solid work as it could've been a lot worse. Karma is a bitch for the person/people who started it. The bosque is sacred and such a beautiful respite. Shame on the loser who thought otherwise.

What caused the fire? I'm sure it was human related. Just curious if it was hobo camps or kids.
