Great reaction! A curiosity about this movie is that the majority of the actors actually lived in the City of God favela in Rio de Janeiro, that's probably the reason it feels so autentic, most of the time they're just reproducing what they see in a daily basis, the only famous actor in this movie is Carrot, but even him choose to live for months in the favela just to make the character more real.

Oh bro. You didn't watch the end of the film, which shows real images and newspaper reports from the time of the events. But it was a great reaction, You felt the drama of violence and poverty that is still a problem in our wonderful country. The actor who played Nockout Ned is a great singer in Brazil called Seu Jorge.

Interesting, you know that scene with witchcraft. There it shows an Umbanda ritual called closed body. From that moment until the moment Lil z rapes the girl, he would technically be closed, so he wouldn't die and wouldn't get hit. But the witchcraft is clear, if he had sex wearing the necklace the spell would turn against him. This was basically just a favela in brazil..it's unfortunately the same..it's the reality of ALMOST every favela. The only difference is that this was an 60s/80s favela being depicted in the movie.

Federal Bank Heist is one of the worst movies in cinema history! Some pearls of modern brazilian cinema are “Central Statiion”, “Bacurau”, “Mango Yellow”, “Behind the Sun” and “Estômago: A Gastronomic Story”, just to name a few
