Simon giving up his memories and immortality for Magnus broke me up so much. I swear I didn't stop crying until the end of the book! I was also really sad when Jordan died because I was really starting to like his character. There was the attack on the werewolves and I thought for a minute that everyone was okay, then Cassandra Clare just hits us all with, oh by the way Jordan is dead. I think that was the first and definitely not the last time I cried in this book!

Slowly dying and trying to hide my other brother walks into the room drinking from my drink bottle. No I have this pet hate of people drinking from my drink bottle. No idea why just do. And so I start having a go at him for drinking from my bottle and tears just start rolling from my eyes. The worse moment of my reading history. :(

My favourite moments in this book was whenever characters from TID were mentioned 😊 I loved the World Inverted chapter 😊 I listened to the the audiobook so I personally found it enjoyable and didn't really notice the slowness of the book (hence why I decided to use the audiobook) but I expected more epic fight scenes and actions :/

I noticed a trend in the Mortal Instruments books - everyone's dad is either dead or not a good dad. Example: Simon's dad is dead. Clary's dad was a shitty father. Jace's dads were either dead (Stephen Herondale) or a terrible father (and also dead) (Valentine Morgenstern). Alec and Isabelle's father is a bad dad who doesn't accept Alec being gay and also cheated on their mother. Magnus's father is evil. The only good father figure we have is Luke XD

Well I guess, I love every scene like this one, where Alec shows how annoyed he is. He being annoyed makes him extremely sarcastic. And this side of Alec is one of the funniest;)

I finished this series in 3 months ,I'm not joking. Whenever I broke down I just kept reminding myself that 'Will would want me to keep reading'. It was absolutely amazing and I'm so glad you finished it.When the sex scene happened I was like 'wtf would you bring condoms?!?!?' ,Then again , there were a lot of ' WTF' moments throughout the book.

I totally thought maia was pregnant too I was like maia what. Also my heart kind of broke for human Jonathan

I read the whole series without any major spoilers and I am so lucky I was able to get through all the twists and turns in the amazing books.

I love his book sooo much!!!My favorite moments were when Clary walked through the fire to get to Jace and the cave scene.Most hear breaking would be Simon losing his memories and Luke seeing his sister as a member of the Dark army and Julian having to kill his Dad.

My favorite moment was the Jace meditation scene, specifically when Jace broke Alec's phone.

I was spoiled for Simon BECOMING a vampire.

"DTR" Was used all the time when I was in University. There was a DTR bench outside the boys freshmen/sophomore dorm that if you were on that side of the building you could ether watch people break up or get engaged.

I finished CoHF the other day. I really enjoyed it and the best parts have to be when there is Jem(favorite character). The feels at the end for Simon's memory loss broke me (even though I know he will regain them again), I was crying sooo much!!! I just started Lady midnight, so far soo good :)

I think the scene when Sebastian dies is the hardest scene for me lol because when "you know who" appears out of nowhere and is talking... it broke my heart lol

I finished this book the day it came out in less than 11 hours. It's on my list of proud accomplishments. But seriously, the Simon thing broke me. I remember bawling and just being like whyyyyyyyyyy

Actually my favorite scene (basicly the one that broke me) is one that a lot of people just read and played no attention. It was when one battle was ending and they were burning all the shadowhunters who didn‘t deserved to be in the City of Bones and Brother Zackariah asked where was the body of the man who killed his parabatai and then he said “It is the worst thing I can imagine ever having to do. I would not have been brave enough. Since there is someone who was, I wish to pay my respects to him”... Like I CAN’T imagine how that would be like, knowing that your parabatai became a dark shadowhunter and kill him/her... I wish to pay my respect to him as well.

I was broken during this whole book but you are right. One moment that KILLED ME was when we find out that the ghost of jessamine saved the london institute (FUCKING DIED) and then WHEN THE iron sisters -or whatever their names are- were outside of the place they were never supposed to leave, because the heavenly fire called them was AMAZING.

what annoyed me was they never actually mentioned brother zachariahs REAL NAME ( if you have read the infernal devices , then you understand what i mean lmao. ) but YES GIRL. the convrrsation between tessa and clary was fantastic in my opinion because you have past and future are intertwined for a few moments right there. 😭😭💘💘
