City Power cuts off electricity supply to hijacked buildings

9 ай бұрынCity Power began cutting off electricity supply to illegally occupied buildings in the Jeppe area in the Joburg CBD yesterday. But officials were confronted by angry residents who claimed they were paying electricity to the building owners. The city says four illegally connected buildings owe the city millions of rand in unpaid revenue. Former Joburg Human Settlements MMC Mlungisi Mabaso says in some cases you'll find that tenants are paying for the services but the owner is not.

Which President did anything about hijacked property before now? Was the ANC responsible for managing the Country, and was salaries payed for failure and impoverishment of Black People ?

These buildings must be demolished. How can a city not dilapidate when rates are not paid? Municipalities are failing South Africans.
