"Grow Betel Leaf plant in a pot at home (पान के पत्ते को घर पर गमले में उगाएं) ; a complete guide". In India and its neighboring countries, chewing Betel leaf or Paan has been an ancient tradition. In ancient time, the Kings and the Emperors too used to be fond of chewing paan with several other herbs. In addition to consuming Paan as a mouth freshner, it has also been used in Ayurveda as a medicinal leaf and as a sacrad leaf in Puja Recitation in Hindu religious rituals. The Paan leaves contain several type of vitamins, minerals and has antiseptic, antibacterial and analgesic properties. Although it is cultivated at commercial level in several south Asian countries, it can also be grown in a pot at home very easily. It thrives in tropical and sub tropical climate as an evergreen perennial creeping vine. This video provides a lesson on growing this multipurpose and beautiful creeping vine in a pot at home. Bahut hi helpful video Brahmadeo ji. 🙏 Apne bahot achchi tarah se samjhaya. Actually paan south facing location k Sun rays bardasht kar leta he, basharte, plant ki lower side, including soil covered ho. Maine ek side branch ko base k taraf lapet kar rakha he, jisse soil ka base covered rehta he. Iss tarah upari leaves sun exposure le leti he aur leaves badi hoti he. Apne bahut achchi tarah se dikhaya k paan k patto ko todte samay, poore stem k saath todna chahiye, jisse usi jagah se dobara leaves nikle.

Must be protected against winter frost. Provide proper shelter so that no direct cold wave or frost touch the plants. Do not add fertilizers and water less during winter.

Hello Bramhadevji, I big fan of yours and follows your channel. The way you share such useful information is very impressive. I need your help to save my 7 ft Champa Plant which i recently bought around 10 days from nursery. From last 3-4 days black spots are visible at back side of many leaves and it's gradually increasing and because of it leaves are becoming yellow and shredding.

Champa requires loose and very well drained soil and very less watering, like a succulent. So keep an eye on that.

Long awaited topic. Very special presentation for me. Some queries : 1. Ek hi pot mein dono plants kyon ? 2. Aaj-kal main moti/coarse river sand ki talash mein hun kyonki kai garden lovers ne iski upyogita batayi hai, khaaskar cuttings mein rooting karne ke liye aur unka success rate increase karne ke liye. Aapne bhi video mein coarse sand ka zikr kiya. Yahan DELHI NCR mein ya to fine silver gray yamuna sand milti hai ya phir light orange coarse construction sand jise BAJRI-BADARPUR bolte hain. Lekin mujhe lagta hai ki BAJRI-BADARPUR shayad River Sand katai nahi hai. Horticultural coarse sand kaun si hoti hai jise hum Gardening/Cutting growing ke liye bina kisi darr/nuksaan ke use kar sakte hain, please guide kijiyega. Kisi video mein practically dikha bhi dijiyega coarse sand. 3. Paan ke plants vaise to rare hain lekin ab kai nurseries aam-taur par rakhne lageen hain. Online bhi available hai. Lekin biggest problem hai ki lag-bhag sabhi jagah MAGHAI VARIETY available hai ya ikka-dukki jagah BANARSI VARIETY. Mujhe exclusively DESI VARIETY chahiye. MAGHAI PAAN kaun si variety hai, knowledge nahi hai. Is par aap jhaankari dijiyega. Thanks for sharing such a unique presentation.

I have mentioned in the video that I had purchased 2 plants which I realized later that it was not required. We use pink sand which is either taken out of Son river or mined from hilly areas. I have no idea about Badarpur. If it is purely mined sand from hilly areas, you can use it for gardening purpose. Maghi paan is a good variety which is especially popular in central Bihar.
