Tagging my community post here in case people didn't see it before this came out : Just a quick one. Today has taken a bit of a turn with the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, a huge day for people around the UK and many around the world. My best to everyone struggling to process the loss of someone who has been a constant in most of our lives. My content is filmed days before and an England series is up next. It's not ideal but I'm hoping people understand that it wasn't planned. The last few years has seen a huge amount of loss, of which moments like this often echo, so look after each other and spread some kindness today.

What an unbelievable resilience. It looked all over multiple times to me.

I'm not nearly finished with this video yet, and for all I know, you got the For Queen and Country achievement via this playthrough, but I personally got it by being Eleanor, settling as near the continent borders as I could, and using loyalty pressure to flip cities until I had a city on every continent at the start of a turn. I may have also settled one or two (but no more than two) cities on the opposite side of the Pangaea map just to be sure.

I celebrate this video, it's the most exciting and entertaining civ6 gameplay I've seen in some time. And I admire your patience, I would already have given up after Rome's science went past 100.

This comeback is epic. I was kind of rooting for Rome taking England for the accidental alignment of history, but I'm too impressed with what you did instead to be unhappy.

First 5 minute in to the game and I keep stare in to that 5 man stake worrier while listen to you.

Done this many times its actually pretty easy if you concentrate on Dockyard and commercial hub and make sure you get to America to colonise quickly your only need to take out one of the neighbours over the channel

I played an interesting Victoria game recently. Deity. True start Mediterranean. Max. civs. You only get the bottom section of the UK. No mountains, hills or woods for adjacency or production. A really tough start. Original plan was world domination from the sea. That dream disappeared more and more with each age as I realised my lack of strategic resources. Having been behind for most of the game, I boosted my way to launching the exoplanet expedition ahead of anyone else (I didn't even have a spaceport when 3 civs had launched the lunar landing!). Victory seemed imminent until Dido won an emergency and claimed a diplomatic victory! A very fun challenge that I'd recommend to anyone (even though I didn't win!).

European TSL starts can be very tricky, with Diety AI to boot and they're abilities on Hyper mode, your resistance has been quite impressive. Also due to recent events, take as much time as necessary, no rush to complete vids.

Hey there Ursa... I tried this on Prince a while ago but with Eleanor D'Aquitaine and boy is it crazy easy, because within twenty turns I had all of western Europe. I made Paris my functional capital and the rest is history... except that the game crashed as I was finishing off the Ottomans, and as I forgot about my autosaves and played a different game... they got automatically deleted.

Man I just stopped trying to do TSL on deity with any European civ. Either I got my mud taken by my 4 much more powerful neighbors or they left me alone and my civ culture converted to them anyway.

I only play the UK and every time I play the Real World map on Switch, it is super difficult to build cities and don’t get me start with the Mediterranean map. Then again my ass at the game

In this scenario, I don't believe one should suffer the diplo penalty for taking a capital; the Gaul capital is no longer Gaul if it's a free city state.

Still don't understand how england doesn't have bonus production towards naval units. British empire was so dominant In history because they was literally always building ship and never stopped

The new King will not make it nearly as long. Too little german left in him. Not enough leather and krupp steel, too much tea and crumpets.

TSL needs to be made alot larger way too small would be interesting to see them scale the map up by like 5x.

Who plays civ on console? I was first played civ on console and i was like this game is bad and returned it. Since i started playing on pc i have over a 1000 hours across the series
