Mr. Rogers is the kindest, most compassionate human who has ever lived. Don't call him creepy. I understand the reasoning, I get why they might think that, but he isn't and he never will be. Dude just wanted to be a friendly neighbor.

Top Breech I'm not sure if he's necessarily good at civ so much as exploiting glitches and becoming massively op in civ and any other game. The comments from when he choose mansa Musa by daltos were because spiff did a video where he used a gameplay exploit to have infinite free units as Mali

Now... Mr. Rogers was a hero of daytime television and children's education. This man was absolutely amazing. Watch his speech to the Senate. Watch interviews of people he would write to. He would call people that wrote in to his show on their birthdays and remind them how special they are.

*sigh* I miss when these were actually edited videos of everyone's perspective and not just a cut-down stream archive. I like Lewis and Duncan, but I didn't come to this channel to only ever see their perspectives and have their faces on screen at all times. Not to mention we're now reliant on whoever was in the control room to switch views, so we keep missing stuff. If you're going to keep going this route, you might as well just put the entire stream archive up unedited; even less effort for you guys then. I think the videos we got last year were just about perfect. We got (mostly) everyone's perspective (or at the very least more than just two), bits from the stream archive (like Lewis' reactions to the volcanoes here), and minimal cuts for time.

I would rather they upload it edited even with only two perspectives than just dump the stream there is a reason I don’t watch Twitch I don’t have the time to watch an entire unedited stream.

So Lewis and Duncan are obviously in the office, but is anyone else in this session in the office? Editing different perspectives is neat and all but if no one else is in the office the amount of work to gather all the recording and then edit is just not worth the traffic these videos pull.

Yeah I do miss the edited format where we got to see everyone's perspective; to see what everyone is planning and what is going to happen. I know it's a lot of work for a platform that isn't exactly accommodating for video games but it is a much more enjoyable way to view these than the raw twitch stream.

I don't know much about Spiff, but people are saying he's good. Maybe that means people will be less likely to do a mass team-up against Lewis, if Lewis has a real rival in a game.

I feel like this episode perfectly sums up the Civ6 experience. Game breaking bugs and exploits, players very easily getting distracted, bad net code and a constant expectation of something about to go wrong.

For anyone interested, the "Cincture (or Belt/Sash) of the Theotokos (pronounced Thayo-toe-kose)" is a relic from the Ancient Christian Church. Since the early years of Christianity, the Church has believed that Mary, after she died, was bodily taken up into heaven. As she was ascending, she appeared in a vision to the Apostle Thomas and gave him the belt/sash she was wearing. A piece of this belt is believed by some to be held in a very old Greek Monastery on the Republic of Mount Athos. History/Theology lesson over.
