Quite saddening, I was looking forward for the 2l of the mountain hip pack because how the sling strap was configured: 2 buckles on each side (real good because nobody can just unlach the buckle from behind you) and the way it managed the excess strap was so perfect but in the civic access 2 liter they didn't care for any of that...

1 buckle would be more secure, on the MHP 3.5, someone could unbuckle from the top if you are wearing it on the back. The buckle near your waist/arm would be harder to unlock without you noticing.

Looks great! Love your products! Now that you have small slings (3.5-2 liters) and full size daily backpacks (20-35 liters) it's time to built something in the middle! I would love to see a 10 liter Evergoods backpack! Something that will fit both mountain biking and also small laptops (13'') for everyday use.

Well heck if you are taking requests - Civic Half Zip (28L?) but as a rolltop messenger bag. Water bottle holder on outside is perfect. Love your products!

What I loved about the MHP 3.5 buckle placement is that I can position it on my chest while carrying a backpack when traveling. Now this smaller version is great, but the buckle will just dig on my middle back if used the same concept. EGs backpacks are already digging on my lower back and now this! Pressure points on my thoracic and lumbar spine.

I agree with you. This was the explanation of Evergoods about why the buckle shouldn’t be in the middle… the only pain point of this fantastic sling bag…

100% agree. They completely dropped the ball with the strap on this. Look at literally any sling on the market, they all have an offset buckle and some form of strap management. I also wear mine with a backpack and having used this sling for a few days now that is just impossible. I also can’t wear it while sitting in any seat, which I regularly wear mine while driving. Really hoping they’ll update this next year with a better strap/buckle system.

Should have kept it same as MHP 3.5 or just reduce to one buckle. I hope they make like a smaller size 1-1.5L, so you don't have to take it off at all.

One last sling please! A 1 liter sling thats identical to your 3,5 liter sling. Love the features and looks of the 3,5 Liter, but i don't even need as much as 2 liter. That's why i would love to see what i just described. Thanks!

I am actually a huge fan of the buckle placement of the CAS2. When the sling is on my back, its super easy to clip it off since the buckle is right there in the middle of my chest. I use it as my everyday grab and go whenever I leave the house. I have never taken it to the airport or used it along with a backpack but for my needs its been perfect. Seems like one of those "Cant please everyone" sort of situations with the buckle placement.

I have a 48” chest and this sling has a max circumference of 47”. An extra bit of length would be appreciated on any updates. Actually any strap improvement, like making the buckle close to the bag (and not the middle) or excess strap management would be welcome.

I have the MHP3.5 and love the location of the strap buckles on the sides. Why has it moved to the center for this pack?

That would a be a bit fussy for something this small is our feeling.

@@evergoods_ I'm ready to buy this sling as soon as the buckle moves to the side. Not comfortable to wear on body with a backpack on. Doesn't seem fussy to have buckle on the side. Please update so I can add to my CHZ26 and CAP2L collection.

@@evergoods_ not fussy at all my friends:) I see your reasoning though! Even adding compression straps wouldn't be fussy or unnecessary for this little beauty. Really hoping for my perfect little sling to be created:)

@@evergoods_ Reduce it to one buckle, and strap keeper please. Buckles are for hip packs. Slings don't really need them and are more secure without buckles.
