Civic Eg "big brake" 282mm upgrade

Күн бұрынI upgraded my front brakes from 262mm to 282mm
Parts used:
-Integra dc2 type r nissin front calipers for 282 mm brakes
-Rpb 282mm discs 4x100 with 3mm spacer ( spacers needed arround 1 mm taken off as the disc was not centred in the caliper bracket, was more towards outside)
-Pbs integra dc2 type r brake pads for 282 mm discs
You can use mg zr160/180 282mm brake discs if you don't want to use spacers.
Because I had time and car was on axle stands, I also replaced front wheel bearings.

Hey nice conversion I have an ef9 so they will be a nice upgrade I looked for the pads you recommended pb but couldent find anything, thanks

Just google pbs brakes. You will find them. They have a website.

@@davidglendree Huge improvement. No brake fade at all. At least for a stock power car like mine anyway.

They are. Haven't used the car much but these brake pads are briliant

You didn’t change the knuckles ? Those are stock knuckles and the itr caliper bolts right up ?

They were changed previously. They need to be from a car that had 262mm brakes.

@@adybiluta is it 4x100 ? cuz 282mm i think it was 4x114.3 so i had to take it from the stock and adapt to the new ones i think

@@wenke29 yes they are 4x100 but you need some spacers under the discs. Tegiwa and some other are selling them as an upgrade for eg civics.

@@Behzaad786 spacers came with these discs. Some companies just sell the discs or have an option to add spacers. I had to machine mine down to half the thickness they were to be perfectly centered though.

Do you know the thickness of these RPB discs ? Maybe 23mm ?

Not exactly sure but they should be same as integra discs as they work with integra/crv calipers

On the right of the title there is a little chevron facing downwards. Click on that and you will see the video description. Integra type r ( 98 spec) calipers and rpb discs in case you still can't find video description.
