Have you ever been confused as to how you can model a site that contains roads and site elements? One of the goals of modeling is to have all elements in your design interact with each other as you do your design. In addition to all your modeling elements interacting, the main goal for a site is to balance the earthworks. In this webinar we will cover some basic modeling techniques that help automate the ability to have all these elements "talk to each other", as well as examine how dynamic balancing of the site can be easily accomplished.

Great Video. I recommend exploring the capability of Sites for managing your feature lines. It’s a game changer and is probably why you had issues crashing with the grading objects. Of course this is a yr old and you may have already discovered. The other thing I do is use featurelines dynamic from the cooridor. I’m able to label, style them etc. I still can’t get the cooridor intersection tools to work efficiently. But I plan to incorporate the features you’ve used to link the profiles. It’s alway great to see how others develop their workflows.

Good afternoon, professor. Did you use feature lines for the sidewalks and the amount of concrete? Wouldn't it be better to use alignments, profiles, and assemblies?
