“Battle Of Life” is one of the 10 new wartime anthems on the band’s new album, Invaders, out via Napalm Records on June 17, 2022. Detailing harrowing stories of sorrow and tales of turbulent triumph from around the globe, as well as human nature itself, the album marks the band’s first with masterful frontman Kelly Sundown Carpenter and formidable shredder Thobbe Englund (ex-Sabaton).

The lyrics are great. It's very rare to hear such wise and inspiring words, which are harmonic with the music. Just the thing you need when you become too lazy/fearful/hopeless.

Awesome stuff, both when it comes to the music and the themes. Didn't really expect anybody would be able to replace Nils' quite unique vocals, but Kelly is doing great. Looking forward to the album!

I first thought the band was done for when Nils Patrik Johansson left. It turns out I was wrong. Kelly Sundown is as good of a singer as Nils, and I'm glad that this band is still making good music.

I listen to this band for a while and all I can say is that is very sad they don't get the same reputation as Sabaton. I guess is because of poor promotion . Once you discover song after song from these guys you will be blown up by how much work in melodies they put in every song and how much potential do they have. Power Metal as it's best quality .

More depht than Sabaton and less pop. Although Sabaton covers more history. Civil War pretty much is dedicated to the american civil war of 1861.

Part of the reason a lot of their members initially left sabaton is because they couldn’t keep up with all the tours they were doing, seems like Civil War is more of a side gig than anything, though I could easily be wrong

All music vids should be lyric vids! This is back-to-the-roots Power Metal and it's done outstandingly well - helped considerably by a truly excellent production job - big thumbs up to whoever mixed it! It rattles along gloriously at the PM standard 136 BPM with a great melody and vocals riding over the top. If you love Power Metal you MUST download this! It will definitely be a singalong gig favourite. My Score Excellent 5*
