Күн бұрынThe Civilist x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro dropped to end off August, and it's one of the wildest executed Dunks I've seen in a while! Featuring a black leather upper that reveals a heat map graphic underneath when exposed to direct heat, these are inspired by Germany in the late 80s / early 90s following the fall of the Berlin Wall and the rise in their Techno scene. my all time favorite dunk hands down to bad they basically dont exist in my size 14 :( and even a 14 is tight for me in sb a 15 would be better. Thanks for the review though Sean!

These were the most raffles I've entered all year but no luck. There's a thermographic shoe box for them as well. They are in my top 3 of the sneakers of the year so far, together with the black Adidas Parley 4D, and the Nike SB Dunk Low Strangelove. Naturally, I struck out on all 3 of them. -_-

Hey Sean, i am curious.. During your wears, how much heat (like just exposing to direct sunlight?) to expose the heat map graphic? And say, if you step into a cold climate/no-sunlight from a sunlight-exposed area, how long does it takes for the graphic to 'settle' down?

I went out to direct sun and it changed colours within about 20 seconds. It stayed that way for about 30-60 sec after I went back indoors.

So in order to see the thermal change, I'd have to go around carrying a blow dryer with me, or you'd have to be in an extremely hot environment, out under the crazy California heat wave we're having to endure these past few days? Cool concept but I'll have to pass on them lol. Great review as always, Sean!

Nah I tested them. They only took 12 seconds to change colour completely under the sun.

Zephyr Jones yes they start to go dark the second you’re out of sunlight , but it takes them a few minutes to revert to fully black

as long as your hands are warm to the touch, you can touch or rub the leather and the color will come out. He just did that at the end of the video too. And with that, how quickly the color fades to black depends on the environmental temperature (no sunlight needed)

Does anyone know how long the heatmap color lasts? Like, if they are warm and get that heatmap color, then I walk into a cool place, does it change to black instantly? Or does it last a while?
