Please watch the rest of this series, the tutorial is excellent for beginners and worth watching. He does an amazing job explaining everything in a concise and clear way without digressing or repeating information (a few times, but it is organic and helpful too)! He goes all the way to turn 92 by the end of the tutorial series, but jumps from time to time to speed things up.
@JacksonOwex2 жыл бұрын
I was about to say that repeating things isn't necessarily a bad thing, unless the thing being repeated is wrong, unfortunately a LOT of wrong stuff is put out there nowadays! Hell, people even STILL claim that in Minecraft sugar cane grows faster on sand, Mojang(the creators of the game) have said this is FALSE as have many, many, many streamers! I don't understand why people seem to grasp to false information even when the truth is slapping them in the face!

That will free up your cash to spend on tiles to expand your borders and give you some breathing room. I actually feel the exact opposite is true for map size. The bigger the map, the easier it gets because the more likely it is for you get your own little corner of the map where no one bothers you. Just like how more AI civs means more allies and friends - weaker civs that have fallen behind are a lot more likely to ally with you.

My dear Sir! I am very greatful for your video. I always wanted to get into Civilization, already bought Civ 3, 5 and 6 years ago, but I couldn't get into it. Of course there was the ruleset ingame, but reading it trough was a pain and didn't give me the exact/proper answer most of the time. I was thinking about re-buying Civ 6 on tablet, because it is so suited for a tab touch screen, but I was afraid of getting lost in the sea of rules again...up until... I found your videos. It sounds really professional, entertaining. You are going through the rules in a logical, built up method and made me want to play. Also: now I actually understand what I am supposed to do. You have another subscriber now. Keep up the good work! Best wishes for you my friend! Greetings from Hungary! -MM-

Thank you Quill. Bought Civ 6 a few weeks ago. Never played before. Jumped in and started a few games. Realised it was massive and needed help. Watched all 6 of your beginner tutorial AWESOME work man. Very well presented. Going to start my first big game before coming back and checking out your specialist tutorials

My History teacher let me play this on his laptop (in school; hes awesome that way) and I was immediately intrigued. I have always been a fan of ancient civilizations, especially greek and roman. He taught me a few tips that he learned like using your territory to separate two other civilizations, and make them pay to cross for trading. Really cool game!

Just picked this up on a steam sale(80% off!!), honestly looks like the most complex game I’ve ever played. My plan is to play Russia, install communism, start up the Soviet Union and start amassing a nuclear arsenal 😂 Think I have a lot to learn before I get to that stage though 😂Great tutorial though, look forward to watching the rest of the series!

Great guide. I bought the Vanilla Switch version so some things are different, but you answered a lot of questions I had. This is my first Civ game and it is DENSE. I don't think I'd be able to learn it all just by playing.

Very thankful to your tutorial. This is my first time paying Civilization, and I was totally lost, when I started the game. Your tutorial is a big help. The only issue is that I'm playing on Nintendo Switch and I think I'm getting confused with the controls, other than that, at least I'm starting to understand what the hell is going on on my screen lol 😂
