-1×(-1)= postive 1 which therefore.. must be 1/2 or postive 0.5 not negatvje

He is correct, yes x_0 is 0 but f(x_0)=-1 check the formula again

In the question we are asked to perform up to 4 intervals. That's why.

No sir the correct answer of X5 = 0.7637 BcZ... The answer of F(X4) = 0.0681 there you made the mistake sir please check it
