Was there last year. One of the most beautiful places my wife and I have ever been to in our lives.

Italy is one of the best place to find history. I am Brazilian but I feel so connected with Italian history and culture. No much fan about their food, but the wine is excellent.

I prefer their wine to french wine as well. Everyone holds France in the highest regard for wine, but there’s nothing quite like a good Chianti

I just watched the travel show on BBC today about this wonderful place and started crying because of the erosion it's is continuing to fall apart and people are trying to save it.

Questo è il luogo privilegiato sembra di vivere lontano dal mondo come in una fiaba dove non è governata dal materialismo, vita beata nel silenzio nell'amore si respira l'aria pulita.

I know the city of Civita from the Indonesian Metro TV program in 2007 because I am from Indonesia. But Metro TV shows tourist TV programs from German TV channels, if I'm not mistaken, Erlebnis Reisen. But at that time there were still many people living in the city of Civita. Although the majority are elderly and small children. Thank you for this beautiful video coverage. Hopefully someday I can visit Civita. Greetings from Indonesia.

Italy has many other small villages such as Civita di Bagnoregio, but most of them were uninhabitated or they have been kept in poor state. Italy's wealth would be just the tourism derived from these landscape and architectural beauties.

@ Lawrence Cheeley - yes, your narrator is ignoring (or is perhaps ignorant of) the accent in the word civita (can't reproduce it here). But to pronounce the town chee-VEE-ta shows the expected tone-deaf American attitude toward this venerable town. It's chee-vee-TA, if you please. The Italians are probably too polite to correct you.
