C9 KNEW how powerful these two were so they didn't even have to become C9 trainees (': to think that BX who didn't even train at C9 became the leader of the group and Seunghun became the main vocal for the team

I remember being so devastated and heartbroken watching the finale of YG Treasure Box, knowing the fact that Seunghun didn’t make it to the group. He’s my fav contestant. But now seeing him thriving in CIX, I’m glad it turns out this way. It’s truly a blessing in disguise. Now i think I understand why YG didn’t favour him that much, it’s not because he’s not talented, he just doesn’t suit the colour of the group he’s trying to produce (at that time), which gears towards young teens. Tbh, he really suits CIX colour more than Treasure. And im glad he is casted together with BX. They must have gone through a lot of hard times together. And i think it’s so smart of c9 to cast them immediately after treasure box. I mean even though bae jinyoung himself is super popular with wanna one, having more popular members is definitely helpful to attract and sustain more fans.

I think when YG had YGTB, they didn't really have any plans to debut the older members but I'm pretty sure YG had a plan where they'd go. CIX to me has the best discography in Kpop. Fight me. I'm a Teume, Stay, For X, Choice, iKONIC, inner circle & EXO-L, but CIX's discography is flawless. BX and Seunghun fits perfectly.

This company is C9 and the only current idol groups they have are CIX, cignature and EPEX, so if you've ever seen any video by any of them, that's where you might have seen the logo.

Their albums have no skip. Truly one of the best 4th gen groups but they're kinda underrated. I recommend u to give a listen to their b-side tracks too like Young or What You Wanted and their japan release Revival

I say cix as each letter but fandom as a word, don’t know if it’s right still lol Cinema isn’t the latest but it’s a great song, it’s soooooo vibey and positive charged. They debuted with Movie Star, there is a lore that goes with their mvs and at times the extra films and additional content can be about sensitive subjects like teen peer pressure, bullying and suicide. The story takes the group on a journey and won’t really make sense to you yet. The basic of Jungle is that they are travelling through the circles of hell as in Dante’s inferno, ice and fire, the river stir and purgatory etc again tied to the lore and story arc but still as an individual MV is so visually beautiful I have no idea why this MV didn’t win awards, seriously. Very creative and the staging, transitions and edit are fabulous. Numb has a whole flip to it with the chorus being the hard hit and the melody in the verse but touches on their story line in school there are prologues to each member around this. Most of the members had already been in eliminations for other groups of short term groups so they debuted with those rough edges already polished off and ready they hit the ground running. They are a bit like A.C.E in the fact that they are underrated and should get more wins and recognition. Still chasing a win after songs like Jungle, Cinema, Wave etc is an actual crime. I would recommend - ‘Wave’, ‘Black Out’ (dance practice as No MV), ‘The One’, ‘What You Wanted’, ‘my new world’, ‘Revival’ (Japanese release but is beautiful) universe single ‘Tesseract’ should be on KZfaq now I think, Bae Jinyoung single ‘hard to say goodbye’ is a tear jerker. They have covers as well like BTS ‘spring Day’ and EXO Love Me Right. BX - leader, rapper, vocalist. He was in a group that was cancelled then was on treasure box with Seunghan and made it to finals. The both left YG after not making Treasure. seunghan - main vocalist, dancer, see box notes. The vocals attacking you from this man’s. He was also on the survival show with Stray Kids. Had been in training in YG and Cube for over 9 yrs but seeing him with CIX they are a great combination and mix so I’m glad it worked out that way but must have been very hard for him. Yonghee- vocalist and visual, loves cereal and a bubbly bouncy happy boy. Bae Jinyoung - lead vocalist, dancer, face of group, centre. He was in Produce 101 and was in the group Wanna One (Kang Daniel, Ong Seong-wu, Kim Jaehwan, Park JiHoon, Ha Sungwoon, Lee Daehwi, Hwang Minhyun, Lai Kuanlin, Park Woojin and Yoon Jisung) which has spawned a LOT of talent both solo and group. He chose to be in a group when asked if wanted to go solo and thinks it’s better as a Team. Uwu Hyunsuk- dancer, lead rapper, vocalist and Maknae, he’s all legs and tall for the baby of the group! If you want to watch the storyline just be prepared for sensitive topics, and these pop up in even most recent content. Welcome to FIX! Lol 😂

Cix are insane, they have a very old vibe, kind off like 2nd gen kpop idk But also their mvs are just insane, Jungle is probably the best kpop mv I’ve ever seen Cinema always makes me cry I don’t really know why but it just such a comforting song And Numb is intense, especially if you’ve watched the concept videos And well Movie Star is probably one of the best debuts ever and it’s so sexy

Numb is one the bravest songs from at that time new group reminds me of Stray Kids social criticism / mental health awareness songs

Their concept is based on The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, an Italian poem from the 14th century. The poem is about Dante waking up in a jungle and starting his jurney in the three worlds of the afterlife. There's: - Inferno (hell) from which you can't escape, your soul has to live there eternally and get punished based on the sins ypu committed in your life - Purgatorio where your soul has to stay for a period with "lighter" punishments and then can go to heaven or to Inferno if you do not show regret about the sins. - Paradiso (heaven) just souls that do not sinned in their life and those from Purgatorio All these are divided in different layers based on the sins and graces. In Movie Star (debut) there's a huge presence of sins and desires tempting you. Jungle is the main one that has a more explicit reference to the poem. There's of course the title and the spooky mood of Hell. All the members are getting through different punishments for ex being trapped by roots, being shot by arrows, being frozen up.. And a lot more others in the poem. There's a huge presence of water because Caronte (myth character) take the souls on his boat to their layers on the river that connects all the Inferno layers. Cinema is based on the Heaven part and as you may notice is more happy and there's a lot of light Numb is specifically focused on the sin. I am not really sure (as a kinda new fix) of which the sin is but I think that Yonghee committed sui**de and as we know in Christianity that's a sin, and probably the others went in Inferno to rescue him, as I said I am not really sure. Everyone gets the Bruno Mars connection;) this is an adult group they came to deal with heavier issues than most Kpop numb is about bullying suicide high expectations and stress on students to perform The Divine Comedy is where jungle gets its themes going through the different gates of hell. Movie star is just sexy as hell and Cinema is about as light and poppy as I've really seen them do .

Movie Star was his debut song and it's my favorite, the choreography also because it's very sexy, in case you want to watch some performance on your own

i’m late as hell but in case you didn’t realize/no one has already told you the main theme of numb is school violence, bullying, self harm and condemnation of the school system in general, they have released a really short series on these issues with all the necessary trigger warnings. C9 entertainment has proved many times with their group Epex too that they care about mental health and illnesses and they did a perfect job with numb (the company however isn’t perfect, the last epex comeback had antisemitic references, they apologized, but still) also their main theme follows Dante’s Divina Commedia with jungle that represents the inferno and wave the journey towards the purgatory

Cinema was an immediate playlist add and the b-sides were really good too!

I remember when Seunghun was going to give up being an idol since he trained for so long but didn't make it in YG Treasure Box; and BX - who was his friend - didn't make the final lineup either. Both left YG after they weren't casted and went on a trip to Japan together. They had been promised a debut for so long but YG failed them over and over, so when BX stopped doing his instagram lives I assumed he got picked up by another company. Turned out both he and Seunghun were taken up pretty quickly by C9 and were immediately placed in the final lineup of their new group CIX with BX as leader and Seunghun as main vocal. It's amazing that other companies could easily see the talent and profit from casting such hardworking idols, but YG kept them in the dungeon for way too long. If they weren't going to debut them, why even keep them there and keep promising debuts? Thankfully, CIX matches their style so much better and they are so happy now.

CIX has one of the best debuts in 4th gen, if not of all time. Movie star was such a moment - it's mature, it's sultry, the song has this moody, easy to listen to vibe! And I know it's pronounced C I X, but personally I can't stop calling them C9(C- IX as in Roman numerals) because 'C9, Bae Jinyoung' is engraved in my brain from the Produce101 days 😂. Can I suggest that when you're doing a new group you watch the MVs chronologically? I think it would've been interesting to hear your thoughts on their debut and their progression in music styles etc

BAE JINYOUNG was a former member of WANNAONE same goes with KANG DANIEL at first I didn't know that Jinyoung was a former member of WANNAONE ( before they disbanded ) But CIX are super talented FIX means ( FAITH IN X ) while CIX means ( COMPLETE IN X ) BX & SEUNGHUN were in YG TREASURE BOX sadly they didn't pass there but happily debuted BEFORE TREASURE did ( I'm really proud of them )

Don’t get me wrong, Treasure is perfect as what they are now as a group and I’m a Treasure Maker too, CIX is also an amazing group but i still don’t get it why YG let them go. Seunghun is actually a very good dancer that he can pass as the main dancer. He even chose dance in YGTB instead of vocal because he's praised in dancing more than his vocals so he thought he had more chance of being first in that category. I don't know why he's just a dancer, I think it's not allowed to get both main vocal and main dancer as well. 🤣
