Did you notice at Doom's Day, you saw Hulk, Gambit, Cyclops, Magneto, Prof X has defeated and who the other heroes was defeated by him at that scene?

Sadly they had that fight off screen in the second game. I recall Thor mentioning that they fought Galactus prior to the second game.

Thor was referring to the events of this game. You fight Galactus as a boss in this game.
