I remember when Tasha paid the school something crazy like 30 bands for Raina to have the lead role in whatever. Tasha thought this was right while Ghost tried to teach Raina you need to work in order to get what you want. It still confuses me how Ghost was a bad father til this day

Tasha would’ve made Raina think that the world revolves around her if she continued to do that. Yes I agree with sticking up for your kids no matter what but in this case Tasha did a little extra to give Raina what she wanted

4:45 that scene to me was always telling on how ghost was raising his kids vs tasha's bad way and very telling in their characters ghost has a lot of flaws but so does tasha and her main one is her refusal to take accountability and thinking she behaves like an adult when she acts like life is unfair and wanted her daughter to do the same when ghost was teaching his daughter there's a better way to go about life and working for what you want which is more realistic and hence tasha's response instead of comforting her she found more comfort in her dad's advice.

I tell people all the time tariq's hatred for ghost changed after the jamaicans hit ghost on their way to the knicks game. If ghost was honest about what happen that night & his upbringing, him & raina would still be alive & tariq wouldnt be who he turned into. (This is NOT saying ghost was a bad father)

Just gonna mention Tasha changed the penthouse code and Ceasar couldn't let him up because he's not allowed to get in between marital affairs. Then Tasha lied to Tariq about Shawn and made him hate his dad Ghost. Even Estelle Green literally said, "you're pus hing him out to the arms of another woman"

Wow this ghost guy seemed like a really good man. There is absolutely no way that this will end badly for him or his family because from what I see it seems that he is a loving father and husband, he has a supporting family behind them, they even have a loving uncle. My dad wasnt shit. And used to beat my mom and beat me and didnt wanna be a father and cared about drugs more than his own. Never respected me, makes racist comments knowing i have black friends, expecting me to call him befroe he calls me. Fuck all that. I forgive him but i dont forget, i dont wish no suffering but im not gonna miss him like my mother. But id do anything to have a dad like ghost bro. Ghost is exactly what i pictured to be a better dad than mine. All the shit hes done for riq to save him had me thinking "riq you tripping"
