What a tune... heard this only once late 80s but never forgot the lyrics! 🙌

I was in the kettlethorpe knights scooter club which changed to the Wakefield Knights . I had a small girly 100 called golden brown. Customised with mirrors crash bars back rest Ariels etc..... Those were the days. I even went to Great Yarmouth on a rally , wearing full girly mod gear ! Plus parka ! I was only 19 at the time. I'm now 51. This has brought back lots of happy memories..... I remember when they came to Hemsworth High School for our end of School concert. It was amazing.

Saw the Gents several times in the 80's . I was a Mod from Barnsley at the time. and they used to play the South Yorkshire circuit a lot. Great song, great times and great memories thanks for sharing :)

Saw them at the Changing Lights in Huddersfield 1981-ish. I'd have bet everything on them getting right to the top, they were excellent. After that, they were popping up everywhere and you never got tired of watching them. They had a pretty loyal following and quite a cross section. Great to find them on You Tube.

Saw them at Nostel Priory 1983. Among others on were David Essex,Tom Robinson,John Cooper Clarke.

by far the best band around at the time, so them on many occasions I remember seeing them at pussycats on one occasion and the whole place was packed and everyone was on their feet dancing Great Times !!!!

Yes mate your right. I guess over time of forgotten. It is the same Scooter we are thinking of. It had a Body and a Rose on the side panels, I did think the forks were slightly extended. Chromed up engine, forks and i'am sure it had St George's flags running on the top of the panels but maybe not. It was all Red and the Helmet matched the Scoot.

The Revenge scooter belonged to a member of the Wakefield Knights scooter club, Yorkshire. We used to meet up with them in the early eighties. I think the club is now called Westgate Runners and the scooter still exists.
