@@DuhByrd I was able to beat it without changing any of my settings (except for not dropping anything on death). I have three tips for you that I discovered that make the run relatively "easy", if you are interested: 1. Once you're there, don't use your pals at all (except glider pals). If you do not have a pal out, the turrets are actually unable to hit you (you can ignore them). 2. Your rocket launcher is your main weapon (I have a rear one and my attack stat is 135 (attack pendant + vanguards + 1 legendary strenght potion)). You can almost one-hit everything on the rig with a single rocket, but sometimes you need two (once the rocket is loaded (the 1 appears on the bottom right of the screen), switch to another weapon and then back to your rocket launcher. It will instantly be ready to fire again, cutting out the rest of the reload animation and almost doubling your fire rate). Pump Action Shotgun and Assault Rifle are good backups. 3. Proceed slowly and deliberately. Kill every enemy you see, don't ignore them and let them get behind you. (Like I do in dungeons, for example.) Once that happens, you're unlikely to survive. The best scenario, of course, is when several enemies are grouped together. Throw a missile at them and they are finished.

once the big oil-rig chest is found, u can basically bailout. its in like one of four different spots by random, NOT purely that bottom room. and ya him being wrong about so many things, including the blueprint was like nyuuuu tell the right info if you're gonna make a vid on it xD if you get enough height like with a Jetragon, u can also just fly completely over lasers then just hop off so they wont Pal-AntAir shoot you

Look at your map, there's a circle on the south easter side. There's a fact travel point directly across from the rig, on the land w a merchant next to it. Fast travel there and swim/ pal your way on. It'll bring you directly to the stairs you need to climb up. Don't go unless you have the max armor. My first trip the guards were all bugged so I said fk it and saved ammo as soon as I was at the top the all came alive.. spent a half hour trying to get my loot back lolol

Make a shitload of nails, sell to vendor for shitload of gold, use to buy pal oil and pal fluid. Wandering merchants sell both now. Way faster than grinding those resources normally. Same for AR ammo.

@@BluefootDStank wow, never thought of that. Nails are super easy to make in bulk. Do you capture the wandering merchant and just keep him in your base? I once had one come into my base and i build a wall around him with a roof and he never was able to leave =)

Feels unfair to hard and not fun. And I have my settings to make it easier.

Palworld does create Backups, just load it. You might loose some progress, but it's better than loosing your hole team / inventory. Just click on your world, in the "World Select" screen, in the bottom left it says "Restore from Backup Data", choose the newest one, if it is too new (you already did the oil rig run), leave the world and choose an older backup. Continue until you find the right one.
