Looking forward to this series so much! I love the idea of Grandgate raiding the countryside under Lannister banners. It looks like you're still getting used to the CK3 UI. If you go to the Find Character Menu (hot key C), you can create saved filters to make it easier to see and sort your court. I like having a preset for unmarried courtiers and children in court so that it makes it easier to marry people off and make sure the younger generation is getting educated, but it's also useful just to look through your court or realm to find the most talented people around your demesne. (I like stealing the really good council members from my vassals.) Due to the male-dominated religion and culture, you won't be able to land or hire Merianne as a steward, but it would be really cool to do via console commands. Getting Visigothic Codes (idk if they renamed it in the mod) in the tech tree, Egalitarian ethos, or Equal Inheritance cultural tradition can give you the ability to enact equal gender laws which could be an interesting thing to work for if you want to go hard on the merit over tradition theme. Otherwise, you might be able to give Merianne a city holding and you can revoke those from Mayors without any penalty aside from some opinion loss. I have no idea why your commanders keep disappearing unless they're leading their own armies, but considering they're all below count rank, I don't think that's possible. I'm not sure if the travel mechanic for commanders is for the agot mod because mine still teleport in vanilla--if it is a mod-specific thing, then it might just be buggy.

I think a good goal could be dissolving the riverlander kingdom after you become a high lord. Sowwing dissent against the Tullys and forming alliances for yhe war could be fun. Then you can maybe gobble up some neighboring high lordships and form the Grand Kingdom
