After almost a decade this is still THE top performance of any Kpop group. The way CL rules and owns the stage is what the newer gen idols should aspire to be. No lip syncing, no over production, just raw talent.

앗 자랑 같은 루트 타셨군요. 전 사실 르세라핌 코첼라 팬 리코딩 보고 그렇게 나쁘지 않다고 생각했지만, 사실 그런 큰 무대에는 씨엘 같은 실력과 카리스마가 필요한데 말이죠. "괜찮았다" 가 아니라 정말 재밌게 놀수 있었다 라고 말 할수 있는 무대가 또 왔으면 해요

Bom was involved in a "drug scandal" (she basically used medication from the US that counts as a drug in korea or something like that). Yes, people expected to CL performing solo, so everyone was shocked and happy and HYPED AF when the rest of the group came ... I remember watching that live and crying sooo much lol... You can see how happy the fans are when Bom is singing ... wow 2015 was a good year ...

I remember that CL is the only one in the line up so NO ONE REALLY NO ONE EXPECTED 2NE1 TO BE THERE. I was live streaming waiting for EXO and hyping CL bcs BRUH WHO ISNT A BLACKJACK THAT TIME? YOU ARE NOT A BLACKJACK BUT YOU SURELY HAVE A BLACKJACK HEART IN U. When Dara came up, i was screaming and when Bom appeared I remember crying bcs of Joy. This is the most unforgettable MAMA stage for me. I remember someone said that CL supposed to perform earlier but she waited for her members. What a queen!

CL IS THE BEST LEADER ON K-POP. I Can still remember how she saved Dara from a 9.0 magnitude Japan Earthquake. Dara was trapped in the 36th floor of the hotel. Dara called CL then without any hesitation CL came to rescue Dara even though the building is already shaking hard. They are not just team mates! They are sisters!

Zceska Botin Bom’s contract was suspended because of a “drug” scandal- she had medication shipped from the US by her family to Korea as it was illegal - she was unable to go to the US to see her doctor to get her medication herself because of her schedule. So she was investigated for drug smuggling. The charges were dropped I believe as she provided her medical records stating that therapy was not as effective as her medication I think it was for anxiety or something along those lines I believe. Minzy left and they became a 3 piece- then YG did not renew their contracts as a group. CL and Dara were signed as solo artists. Their last song was Goodbye in 2017, which was based on a letter CL wrote to Minzy when she left. Bom was apart of the Goodbye song. Nowadays Bom is a solo artist on a different label, Dara does TV shows now I think, CL has gone solo trying to break into America with songs in English and she’s done lots of modelling and then Minzy is doing solo music and KZfaq

I have rewatched this video and have already lost count. This still will be one of my most favorite of 2NE1 videos there are in the internet. No one can change my mind as to why this is the best MAMA performance there is from the beginning and now that it's 2023, it is still the best and I have watched countless performance of KPop and has been a fan of a few kpop artists already. I say no one can top CL and 2NE1 when it comes to owning the stage in every performance they have.

I feel like no one could top this performance, they just made history, they came in and dominated everything, I'm still amazed at the power CL has, this woman is amazing, her energy is unreal, and honestly she is one of the artists with more stage presence I've ever seen in my entire life, everything she sets out to do, she did better. I miss that amazing energy that kpop groups had, they were amazing and dominant, their performances were always so iconic and the songs were amazing and memorable, today everything seems so generic.

Yea, idk why but I feel like with OG k-pop, they always sounded even better live. K-pop idols nowadays are good with their vocals too but I can't seem to find any actually live singing bc they mostly lip-sync. The only ones that I know of that still sing live are Mamamoo, BTS, Blackpink, Red Velvet and BTOB. There are probably more that I'm not aware of though but as I said earlier, I just feel like OG k-pop always sounded even better live. But I still appreciate the idols who sing live nowadays as well bc they are giving their best and I appreciate that and they sound great live as well.

@@LeoElso Actually in MAMA 2015 they don't. Only CL did the rehearsal by herself (source: MAMA 2015 rehearsals behind the scene). Also Dara revealed even some staffs didn't know their surprise performance

@@cayaaf I'm sure you understand that the trap doors, music cues, lighting states etc. all need to be pre-programmed integrating the four of them. The art and technical department of MAMA must have been in on the surprise. It is possible that not EVERYONE involved knew, and that they conducted closed rehearsals, but it is impossible that they just turned up and said "oh by the way the rest of the band are here, just put this mp3 in and we'll take care of the rest" - The ear monitors and sound levels are crucial for performers of their calibre and you can't just wing it without a proper soundcheck, especially in such a huge arena. I've been involved in several award shows of this type and let me tell you they are rehearsed within an inch of their lives. It still makes a great video that I cannot stop watching and it doesn't make the joy of us fans to see them reunited less genuine!
