Claas Lexion 8900 45 FT Header Somewhere in England?

This video is about the Claas Lexion 8900 filmed at a secret location in Yorkshire England.
The estate has rolling hills and dales that provide an excellent back drop in which to show off this excellent combine..
The 8900 had a 13.80 mtr or 45ft wide header.
With the 8900's 790 hp the combine was cutting hundreds of acres per day and making sure the winter wheat was cut at the optimum time for quality and grain moisture.
I've filmed and rode on several 35ft wide machines now, but the 45ft on the 8900 is simply in another league.

I've been photographing combines and other farming operations on this estate for many years Andy ,but have never managed to produce anything like this.Absolutely brilliant.

OH brilliant, if I'm not mistaken they went from 4 claas's to 3 New Hollands to 2 Claas's over the last 6-7 years and used to do their own videos. So good to see their stuff back on the web again.

You've done very well to be asked to film on this farm Andrew , , so glad they have asked you to film some of their kit and great vids again . hope fully they ask you back for drilling and ploughing season's as well . We did managed to see them at the side of the road which made me day .

Great video Andy, fantastic drone footage illustrating the beautiful surrounding countryside, thought I was watching a Claas issued promotional video with some of those gorgeous shots, those Stewart triple axle trailers are a fair piece of kit but suppose they are needed to keep up with those beasts of machines depending on how far the crop has to be carted. It is glorious countryside I filmed it in and not a grain store in sight hence the large trailers in such heavy crops of wheat. Once again thanks for liking. Andy 😊👍

When I worked at Warter Estates they had a MF760, NH1550S, NH8080 x 4 over the two units. (1980)

Andy, great footage here, the only thing missing is some commentary - I think it would make a big difference to your channel and give the viewer an insight from your perspective. Just a thought.

Thanks for your suggestion and it is something I have thought about before and not yet got on with. I seem to be that busy concentrating on getting good footage from my 3 different cameras that the field work is about finished when I’m happy with what I’ve filmed 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ But you are right it would be the next thing for me to do, watch this space…..

Hi Carl Yes don’t panic, the crop hasn’t died off early , it was last August, I just wanted it to be the last video I released from 2022 season and I took ages editing it to get it right. 😊

Sorry you don’t like the music Miles, with such a dramatic machine I think it deserves dramatic music. If you subscribe and check out my other 100 plus videos you’ll watch some videos with no music or light music or fast music depending on the machine. Hope you enjoy Andy 😊👍
