oh boy, Malva standing there, looking all worried. Well, she actually might have been since she really likes Claire. I don't remember - was the sickness also part of Alan's plan?

Malva was the one who made Claire sick in the first place.

It was Malvas plan. Claire and Tom her father. But it was a concoction she made from the dead sin eaters flesh. Tom and Claire though their sickness was bad it wasn’t the same as was going around Fraser’s ridge. Or - so says the book WHICH I prefer than the TV series MUCH better- the TV series strayed too far off from the books 😡 and they shouldn’t have !
