Claire Danes & Jared Leto hosting "My So-Called Videos" Segments on MTV (1995)

Future 3-time Emmy winner Claire Danes and future Oscar winner Jared Leto on MTV in April 1995 after the initial run of their ABC TV series, "My So-Called Life" (but before the announcement of its cancellation). Danes, Leto and other MSCL cast members hosted these "My So-Called Videos" segments during an airing of a "My So-Called Life" marathon. Danes won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal of Angela Chase. Later in her career, she won three Emmys and three additional Golden Globes for other roles. She is a kid, he is an adult. He was 24 in 1995 and she was 15-16.

I met him right around this time outside a pizza place in NYC. I was 15. He was and is still the best looking guy I have ever laid eyes on in real life.

Aw April of 95? I was about to turn 12 and I remember this. Claire seems so awkward here . I guess it would be awkward being that she just turned 16 and Leto was 23ish and gorgeous. Miss the 90s so much!

Oh baby Jared! I met him last time back in 2018 he gives the best hugs ever! I even attended his camp MARS fan retreat too! I hope he gets nominated for an Emmy for we crashed

Did she really just turned 16 in this clip? Wow! ....Then Jared introduced a video from Boyz II Men! 😅 I actually met him at a premiere in NY back in 2005. He was the one who approached me after an interview and gave me a hug. That was a pleasant surprise. I can't believe that was 2005. How time flies!!! I can't believe we're in 2021 now. WHERE DID TIME GO???

Ah they’re babies here! So apparently Jared taught Claire how to do onscreen make out session because she understandably didn’t understand what the script meant by “kissing his face” He was 21 and she was 14. Still I pretended she was at least 16 and he was 17 when I watched it on mtv. I was shocked to learn it was canceled and those were reruns:( oh man I miss those years.

She has said she was 14 when he taught her to make out for the show. She had kissed a boy before but was naive about how to make out cause the directions on the script said she kisses his face lol. Though the first make session was when he brought her fake id in the car but he kind of attacked her and she fought him off was like uh not like that bud. Then the 2nd time was in the car a real passionate kiss he gave over talk about the Eskimos lol. Then the boiler room was really making out. She talked about on the Howard Stern show. Heck it was a great brief show of the 1990s but did not last long, well it was competing against BH 90210 at that time which was quite popular so it just did not have a chance it was like the east coast version plot of 90210. Aj langer was on an episode of BH 90210. The show introduced the. 90s grunge wear.

Yeh this was when they trying to save the show i remember. Awkrard now she like 14 he 21 omg lol he playing a teen and he had to teach her how to make out and sit on the coach like they on a date. He is so fine looking how can one not wanna look at that all day but she gotta be cool. But she has great affection for him many memories.

Actually in the piloi she was 13 and he was about to turn 20, in this video she says she just turned 16 so he's 23.
