Thank you for sharing your lovely stories here. Of course, my life will never be the same without her but we carry on in her honor. One of her favorite quotes of mine is "Go and live your life, enjoy your life because there are people fighting like hell for it". Less than 5 mins ago @13:41 hrs on 19/07/2019 here in the UK 🇬🇧 I had just finished watching Claire’s encapsulating, insightful and extraordinary video of what it’s like to die. Her vid just came into my recommendation. After watching I immediately subscribed and went to her home page and saw this one. As a man of 53 I’m broke, tears are flooding down my cheeks as if Niagara Falls has just fitted with a turbo. I’m sorry there are no words that I can say that haven’t already been said. All I know is in that first video I connected with and saw an angel 👼 My heart aches for her mum and dad. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🔰

I lived with a husband who had stage four emphysema. He too was on oxygen until the Lord called him home on February 4th, 2020. Claire is no longer lugging an oxygen tank around. Her beautiful spirit lives on. Gods bless you Claire. 🙏🙏

I knew a young man like Claire named Jon. I always said his spirit was too big for this world. He was a force. He passed at 18 after being in a coma for a year. That was over 25 years ago and he still lives in our hearts! He and Claire, I know, are shinning bright together because these souls are special and don't come into your life every day!

The first time I found Claire’s account I was 11 and I didn’t fully understand her message I lost her account but re found it years later when I was 16 and I was watching one of her videos to read a comment that said “ I got excited I thought she had uploaded a video then I remembered” confused I did some research I found out she had died and the world truly did seem dimmer the world had lost one amazing talented kind hearted young women who had truly touched and impacted so many lives. Claire I want you to know that you achieved your goal you educated people on cystic fibrosis you changed my outlook on life and helped me out of my depression you made me and I’m sure many others start living my life instead of like I was dying but more like I was blessed to wake up everyday because that could be the day I changed the world you have touched SO many lives and we are all better for having you be apart of ours whether that was on KZfaq or in real life we are all blessed to have you xx

Idk why I stumbled on a Claire video & then this. My mom is now on O2 & diagnosed with AML & emphysema. The anemia & shortness of breath with low bp & O2 have almost taken her life several times since December. She just turned 77, but she is worth fighting for even tho Dr’s think she shd be on hospice bc of her age & fragility. We will start chemo Monday & expect it to be a difficult process, but if she’s going down, she’s going down with a fight & not giving in. I played the Andy Grammar song ‘I’m not giving up’ for her & held her hand. I will walk this walk with her every day until the Lord calls her home.❤️🙏

I have been feeling really depressed lately but watching a bunch of clairs videos she helped me release what life is really about

She was such an inspiration for me and my caregiver to watch. I have CF along with some other health conditions. And since I can't see well and since my health is just too hard for me to manage on my own. This wonderful lady who use to be a nurse in Lebanon We both became really close at our Maronite Catholic Church. When it was getting too hard for my parents to take care of me Go to their work. She said that she would be my caregiver. And I both live in the catholic village for people with health conditions and disabilities and she . The people that manage the village gave her permission to live with me so she sold her house. She knows how to do everything from my breathing treatments and oxygen all the way to my IV's and my feeding tube. I go into the hospital every 6 months to a year to get IV treatments. However, this time I became really sick and had to go into months after a stay. One Night in the hospital I was really sick they weren't sure if I was going to pull through So I asked my caregiver if she could do what Jesus did for Mary? And she instantly knew what I was talking about. So my bedside nurse Help us. Get me set up to where I could lay in my caregivers arms. While I was laying there, I told her. Thank you. At first she didn't get it, but then I told her thank you for everything for something as simple as helping me walk around the church so I don't fall due to weakness all the way to this and she said aww habibi you are the best person to come in my life you are such a blessing to me you are so strong and you push and push so much You may not be Lebanese, but you sure have the spirit and the Heart And I asked her what if I don't think I can push anymore. And she said always push but now take it easy. And just rest. Turns out I was sleeping in her lap the whole night. She stayed up through the whole night just to Watch Over Me. A few days after I pulled through and went home. It was my 20th birthday. So we went to our friends local Lebanese restaurant and our friend reserved almost the entire place for us. Everyone in the Lebanese Community came and my caregiver surprise me by hiring a TV crew. In our area the capture the wonderful memory of my birthday. Because doctors weren't sure if I would make it to my twenties because of how aggressive my CF and my other health conditions have been. She asked me. Are you happy habibi ? And I said, yes. I cried tears of joy. While hugging her that day My health was so good during the party. But when I got home. And when she was getting me all set up for the night. I started getting really sick again. So she called her Two sisters and they both stayed right by my bed the whole time. So that way my caregiver could sleep. They sat little flameless candles by my bed as well as a little statue. And they got little chairs with comfortable pillows on them. And I sat them right by my bed. Whenever the pain and sickness would start to flare up. They would both come and hug me and hold my hands. To be my comfort while my caregiver slept I pushed through again and I'm still here. Might have a lot of health problems, but my caregiver is helping me push. She gave me. An oud For my birthday at that party. And today I played a little bit at one of our Lebanese gatherings. She was my little singer. While I was playing

Her message: don't pity terminaly sick people, empower them! I have it in my mind for ever. Love you Claire for ever!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I didn’t know who Claire was until tonight when I came across one of her videos. I am 55. A mother of two sons 29 & 27 and two daughters 25 & 22. I am laying in my bed sobbing like a baby right now from seeing this celebration of her life and realizing this gorgeous young lady, this truly amazing soul is on the other side now. I am sad wishing she could have lived until old age. I am sad she never got a chance to marry or have children of her own. What an incredible mother she would have been. Yet I am relieved her struggles with this disease are over now. She was so strong. So positive. So bright and such an old soul. She taught tens of thousands if not millions of people about living. TRULY LIVING. It is true that everyone of us is dying. No one is guaranteed tomorrow but the way she lived her life knowing her life would be shortened is such an inspiration to all of us. Her parents deserve a ton of credit for raising both of their daughters so beautifully. They are such loving and supportive parents. So strong. And her sister deserves a lot of praise for being the greatest sister anyone could have. You can see the love she gives out and she is going to be an incredible young woman just like her big sister. I pray this family keeps honoring Claire by helping to spread awareness of this disease. God Bless you all. Prayers being sent from Ohio 🙏

I didn’t personally know Claire but I know what it’s like to have cystic fibrosis and have a chronic and terminal illness and I truly do wish I could have got to meet her it’s so sad to hear that she passed away and that’s so hard but I truly am inspired by her and truly get what she went through. But she never looked at those bad times she looked at the positive times and she wasn’t afraid of her illness and wow she was one amazing young women and I am so proud of her even though she is gone she was told only a year left to live at 18 and wow 21 she is such a big inspiration and I am so proud of her no matter what she always had a smile on her face. I lost one of my BFF to CF in 1988. Her name is Kathy Dombek. She, like Claire, was a gigantic inspiration and taught me to live life to the fullest. Kathy was 15 when she passed away. Claire and Kathy will forever live in my heart forever. Until we meet again sweethearts ♥️♥️.

i keep coming back here i just can't believe it. i have PCD which is like CF but its easier to treat. i had no idea what it was until i was 10, i still am not fully diagnosed but i have all the symptoms. i just found out about her death today and i have no words. my mom and i found out about her and started watching everything she posted, just now i saw a youtube rewind and it said she died i read more into it and i never want to get a lung transplant, at least in her movie, and book [five feet apart] she lived, but i just found out the truth and i left my zoom meeting sobbing. she was the best CF youtuber and i can't believe shes gone

I met Claire once in 2008 in a yoga class that John bought her to, even at her young age and with what she was dealing with, it was obvious that she was living in a permanent state of awe. If we could all find that state what a wonderful world it would be. Peace to you, special soul.

Last night Claire's video "How does it feel to die" (reloaded) popped up in my KZfaq feed. I clicked on it while thinking of my daughter who passed 7 yrs. ago. Her light was like that of my daughter, Mikel. I could feel my baby with me as I watched. I went to bed remembering how alive my daughter was all her days here. And then this morning this video showed up. To see how Claire was with the people in her life, her music, her sense of humor, her bright light, brought memories of my Mikel to flood my mind & soul. My daughter also knew her time was short, she too was sick all her days. She was self taught with the keyboard, loved music, animal activist (stared down the barrel of a gun once while saving a pit bull). She too had the light of life & everyone who met her felt it. She managed to live on her own for 10 yrs. before coming home for her last two. It was during that time, she told me about her love/hate relationship with death. It was a hard thing to hear & I hear it now to this day. Mikel's birthday is in a week's time, she would have been 38. I'm pretty sure she had something to do with Claire's videos coming my way. I'm very thankful. To Claire's parents, family, friends & strangers like myself, please know my heart is with you. My tears have not stopped since watching this morning. Your Claire was a beautiful soul & will always be remembered with love & laughter. Like my baby girl. God is good. Love, prayers & Tennessee bear hugs to all. ♡♡

Despite she had to deal with CF for a whole her life, she was genuinely happy. She was happier than most of the people you can see outside. It's a rare gift which most people can only dream about
