Its way easier than youd think! Theres also a bunch of tutorials on youtube :) I mean maybe not the splits and stuff but certainly the other moves arent super hard

It's a major workout but Super Duper fun. I used to dance like about 10-12 yrs ago, (I was in my 20's), & It's Definitely one of the funnest things I've ever done!

My mother danced in a troupe with that guy's daughter (between the Nicholas Btothers). Yup, that's CAB CALLOWAY, laying it down! With every genre, you get into the purity of the music (slave quartets entertainment, distilled to become Minstrel dances, Gandy dancers of Europe, Ragtime, Jazz, I could go on). Sometime when you're deep in the revelry, only then for a sec, you might notice the people around you, but hey, you're all into the music, right? You don't need a translator for the language of music and movement (ask any Euro who lost while watching Anita Baker running down the Banana Dance)!

(in order of first appearance) Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, The Nicholas Brothers, Fred Astaire by himself, sadly i don't recognize the man who makes the dancers disappear and clothes change color, and i'm pretty sure that's Lucille Ball singing the song. Love it!

@@anneugartechea7650 OMG! Yes it is a lot of sweat and work. I watched so many different videos and I am super amazed on their skills. If I can just clone their feet on mine then i can keep the rhythm. So many twist, turns hops. Overall so much fun. i can't dance to this without smiling every time

Learn from your ELDERS, whose artistry, you dismissed as old hat. Biggest ,Brit band's of the 60s WORSHIPPED the artists we summarily put out to pasture (Muddy, Chuck, Little Richard et al). Europe imported these artists. CHUCK JACKSON was flown to London to teach the new kid the art of inflection and stylization of songs (that kid was TOM JONES). Listen to MICK's cover of IT'S ALL OVER NOW, then hear the original by BOBBY WOMACKs band.. Sheeesh!

Hahaha, when I was a teenager in the 80's, I told my grandma Jeannie, that those people only danced like that in the movies, or for those days long dance contests. She just laughed & shook her head, then she told me that she danced like that, & that everyone danced like that. I was simply aghast, & slightly dismayed at the fact that my little old grandma danced like that, & here I was a Punker/proto Goth who looked outrageous!
